My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a weirdo white guy from Waterloo, Ontario. Originally from Toronto.

I'm bisexual, submissive, into a lot of kink, or just plain simple friendship. I've been in very loving multipartner relationships; I'm not a fan of serial monogamy, but I do root for polyfidelity; I'm also into sapiosexuality, which in layman's terms it means I'm attracted to people with great big brains... I dig nerds.

Very much into roleplaying games, computer games, movies and live theatre.

Nota bene: 'poly' does not mean 'easy'. I actually have rules.

1) I will not help you cheat on your spouse. If they know about what's going on, it's not cheating. (In fact, we may hit it off.)

2) I'm making the courtesy of making a public spectacle of myself online, do the same so I can at least look you over. Understand that neither of us may not like what we see offline, and live and let live.

3) Never feed or tease the straight people.

Conversely, the poly part doesn't mean I'm immediately out to have sex with you. (That's usually what people presume, or so I presume.) Currently I'm in a poly relationship right now.

I am charming, witty, and neurotic
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently, I'm the entire shipping/receiving department for a mid-sized Zellers store, with aspirations to find training in order to quit this job and find another one that allows me to pursue my interests more readily while simultaneously paying up my aborted college year OSAP all the faster.

EDIT: this is old news. I do have a job elsewhere that pays more money, and all debt is gone. Colour me happy, I can now buy more crap.

EDIT AGAIN: I bought a car, and sometime soon the bank will agree that it's mine. Hello debt, I seemed to have missed you.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been told that I'm very charming and disarming; I make people feel comfortable being around me. If someone smiles because I gave them a complement, it just makes my day.

Conversely, I'm also very good at saying something entirely inappropriate at just the right moment.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I talk way too fast. Must be the caffeine intake.

Apparently my eyes run a close second.

And my incredibly diverse vocabulary hides just how stupid I really am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: aside from various role-playing games on the go, my favourites are The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon, Griffin & Sabine by Nick Bantok, Aztec by Gary Jennings, Microserfs by Douglas Coupland, Callahan's Crosstime Saloon story anthologies by Spider Robinson, Standing Naked in the Wings, a canadian theatre anthology compiled by Linda Mason Green and Tedde Moore, SM 101 by Jay Wiseman, and Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns by Philip Miller and Molly Devon.

Movies: I generally go for movies that are quite dark and show insight into the nature of human conscience in the face of adversity; either that or vampire movies, because I find them pretty thrilling. Favourites include Das Experiment, Underworld, Romero, Closer, Strange Days, Braveheart, Heat, Interview with the Vampire, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and many, many others.

Music: I often joke that I like any music as long as it's angry, but that's not completely true. I like NIN, Korn, VNV Nation (saw them in concert a few years ago! kickass show!!), Perfect Circle, Assemblage 23, Rob Zombie, Metallica... but I also am enamoured of the Big Band era, as well as the 60's. I also dig karaoke.

Foods: The act of breaking bread with one another is the very foundation of community. It doesn't matter if it's a sumptuous risotto milanese that took all day over the stove, slow-cooker stew that took 20 minutes to throw together, or pizza that took five minutes to phone in an order.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Well, aside from the basics of food, shelter, sleep, etc... strong friendships, RPGs, mental diversions, pulse-pounding music, bondage gear, and someone to tie the knots.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Being worried if I'm not worrying enough. Being budget-conscious one day so I can splurge every once in a while. The last movie I watched. Those songs you just can't get out of your head. Roleplaying games. My friends' problems and how I can help. BDSM.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Generally I work friday nights. What I'd *like* to do is: Roleplaying or LARPing, haunting facebook, playing a video game, going to see a movie with friends, going for coffee or tea with friends, curling up and watching a DVD rental, or hitting the local nightclub until closing time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

... U R not gona txt liek dis 2 me... I appreciate grammar and spelling; I tend to overuse punctuation, so if you drop, say, a semicolon liberally into your message (and not in emoticon) it may get me hot.
