My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I read, travel, listen to NPR, watch films, love to learn new things, gardening and more. Former pizza delivery guy, repo man, beekeeper, Peace Corps volunteer, property manager, hotel manager, marketing manager, (yeah I can manage!) and more.
I can be a competitive person but I have zero knowledge or interest in televised sports and teams. If one of your great fascinations in life is spending inordinate amounts of time watching sports, the statistical significance of our being compatible is low.

I am intelligent, sarcastic, and unconventional

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Some of my favorite authors not necessarily in order of precedence: T.H. White, J.R.R. Tolkien, Ayn Rand, Thoreau, Theroux (Paul), E.F. Schumacher, Will and Ariel Durant, David Sedaris, Harper Lee and many more plus anyone who can write as well, and as clearly, as do the writers of The Economist.
Really too many books and movies to list..
Movies and shows..I don't have a TV but I do like films and some shows..BSG, Lost, Firefly, West Wing, The Newsroom. Films..I like classics, 12 Angry Men, Casablanca, etc. Sci Fi/Fantasy LOTR, Avatar..like suspense, action..I'll watch most anything other than horror or dumb comedy..anything with Jim Carey I would hate.
Food - love hot and spicy. I challenge you to eat anything hotter than I can. I'll try most anything but Thai, Indian, Mexican and Italian are at the top of my list. Anything fresh out of the garden is also great, as is sushi.
