I am sorry, Ms. Jackson, and Ooooh.

My Self-Summary

I'm a nice, easy going guy. I'm honest and hardworking. I'm also very straightforward; what you see is what you get. I enjoy humor and try not to take anything too seriously. You can usually find me laughing my ass off. I like making strange connections, and I love odd/interesting facts.

Education is very important to me. I love maths, the sciences, history, languages and the like. I have a passion for learning, and I admire that in others.

Art is also very important to me. Not specifically gallery art, but art in a general sense. I grew up playing an instrument, and am currently trying to learn another. I don't have the ear or the chops to make it more than a hobby, but I enjoy doing it anyway. I admire artists of all kinds. I try my hand at sketching now and then (I love drawing on my phone), but mostly it's just the music for me.

I like to exercise. I try to run at least 3 times a week. I love lifting things, be it packages or weights. I'm planning on trying a boxing class (I don't intend on sparring) and I'm getting into ballroom dance. I love hiking and camping and am always looking for opportunities to do both more.

I prefer warm weather over cold, though I love the rain. I prefer pubs over the clubs, though I can't help but dance when I'm drinking.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm in school (in the last quarter of my BS). I work doing manual labor; sorting packages.
I'm growing my hair out.
I'm stopping to smell the roses. And the sea air.

I’m really good at

-remembering plots and useless details.

-Listening.

-Ridiculous arguments with people who take themselves and the subject entirely too seriously.

The first things people usually notice about me

-My height. I'm tall.

-My calves. I get a lot of comments about them.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books-
Currently Reading: School has taken over my reading time, but now I'm just skimming for theories

Favorites: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Frankenstein, Ender's Game, Dune, The Princess Bride, An Introduction to Mathematical Reasoning, Gateway, The Golden Compass, America, The Westing Game, Snow Crash, Slaughterhouse 5, World War Z.

Movies:
Animal House, The Blues Brothers, The Jungle Book, Kevin Smith movies, Office Space, Space Balls, SLC Punk, Lebowski, The Hebrew Hammer, The Ten, Team America: World Police, The Boondock Saints, V for Vendetta, Wet Hot American Summer. Pixar movies.

Music:
My favorite music depends entirely on my mood. When I'm drinking, I love dance music/top 40's shit. When I'm working I love energetic ska or rock. When I'm just hanging out I like to keep it a little slower, a little more down temo. A lot of jazz/swing. Especially Bobby Darin, Louis Prima, Tony Bennett, etc. Some soul, some motown. In between I like pretty much anything with a catchy tune.
Right now I can't stop listening to Queen.

Food:
I've never been picky. I've recently been eating more spicy foods. I like to mix it up.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

-What I'm going to do after college. In what order. Work, travel, etc.

-What life would be like if more things had to be proved rigorously.

-Starting a funk band like Lovage. Or just learning how to run some funky bass lines. Learning how to walk bass lines in general.

-Where in the greater Seattle area I would be happiest living.

-Whether or not I want to try out for the Sound Wave.

-adventures

On a typical Friday night I am

I work friday nights. Afterward I am either relaxing at home or having a beer with some friends. I'm much more of a chilling in a pub kind of guy, but on occasion I can be found dancing my ass off.
