My self-summary
**its been a long time since I've updated this so some things may have changed **

Australian-Asian, I have quite an open personality, and I tend to waffle on about the ridiculous sometimes, Aspiring artist at heart, although the art industry in Sydney is all too small. Considering doing my M.F.A in Paris and then maybe a year of art education as a backup if I don't make it. But I plan to be famous one day, so why harp on it?

I dream of bigger cities and I WILL be travelling, as I love to, at moments, drop everything and up and leave.

Outgoing, open, sporadic, spontaneous, and laid back (yup it does contradict.)

Probably unhealthy love of Ferry boats and planes.

When I am checking if the internet connection is working, I ALWAYS reflexively type "DUCKS" into google.

Dead scared of hills -- which doesn't coincide with my yearning to live in San Francisco and/or NYC.

Vowed never to see another horror film for the rest of my life. Last one ever saw was probably a good 5 years ago - Darkness Falls, it was ridiculous but it did it's job. More afraid of the dark - if it was possible.

gin&tonic :p

Realised that I am more confused and not as solid with my thoughts than 5 years ago.
What I’m doing with my life
part-time artist, part-time working on that. full time carer.
I’m really good at
drawing the nakeds, daydreaming and making people laugh, and keeping up a conversation most of the time mainly because I pretend to listen really well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
so geeky but i love it -- Books - Not very well known - Juliet Marillier, The Sevenwaters triliogy. (I generally like fantasy folklore)
The only Austen book I liked was Persuasion.
I hate corny in my daily paces with people but I love to read cheesy romance novels which is a contradiction. Guilty pleasures.

Music - you cannot go wrong with Damien Rice, Kings of Convenience, Elliot Smith, Elbow, Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, Marvin Gaye, Imogen Heap, Mayer Hawthorne, N.E.R.D., Sigur Ros, Angus & Julia Stone, Chris Garneau, Lady of the Sunshine, The Killers, The Getaway Plan, The National, The Perishers, The XX, The Black Keys, The Script (too many bands that start with 'The'), Interpol, I am a softie for old Mr Frank Sinatra, Sia, Meiko, Joe, Ray Lamontagne, Bon Iver, Arctic Monkeys. And a touch of RnB and movie scores to drive home to in the afternoons.

Food - way too much.
The six things I could never do without
portable watercolours, hygiene, eyeliner, iphone, access to the internet, moleskine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
being off with the fairies
On a typical Friday night I am
out with the girls or in with them
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have total faith and trust in Wikipedia.
