I think its much more interesting to live not knowing,
than to have answers which might be wrong.
I have approximate answers, and possible beliefs, and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I’m not absolutely sure of anything, and in many things I don’t know anything at all.

I grew up in a small town - blue collar, coal and steel, and when I was 17 I left, looking for adventure. I have always needed to stretch and explore and that little town was just not big enough.
I've lived in in a lot of places since then but New York has been my home most of the time. Its been a fun journey. I've traveled in Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean and have a second home in Florida.
I've been an entrepreneur most of my life. My consulting firm is well established with an excellent reputation, my three kids are grown and doing well. I have a fair amount of free time and a fair degree of financial freedom... the adventure continues. What will come next?
I'm a bit of a rebel, although I appear conservative. Irreverence can be a lot of fun. Its probably why I love Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart and Chris Rock. I'm pretty respectful, but I don't have a problem with jokes of any kind, even if at my own expense. Life is too short not to laugh at ourselves. Let's face it, humans are pretty funny.
I have done a fair amount of inner work. If you do that you ultimately develop some pretty good personality traits. Kindness, generosity, compassion, to name a few. You stop taking things too seriously.
I try to have fun with everything I do. It would be great to spend time with someone who is also committed to doing that.
I am interested in a committed monogomous partnership although I am open to friendship of any kind, as long as it's enjoyable and interesting. I had a good marriage that ended right on time, and some great relationships after that. I made plenty of mistakes and learned from them. Everyone I was with made me a better person.
Romance is essentially about honoring the other one, paying attention to what they enjoy and love, and creating an atmosphere that responds to that. Its not that hard when you figure this out. I am an old soul. If you know what this means and feel similarly, I would love to connect. We could have a lot of fun together.
I would love to find a partner with like minded interests. Someone nurturing, smart, and savvy, who loves good music, good food, good wine...who enjoys the spiritually sensuous nature of our world..light hearted, and easy going - who will go anywhere with me, intellectually, emotionally and otherwise.
