My self-summary
I'm anti-misanthropic!

I've been told that my conversational style is very straight-forward; I often say things, as they come to me, without fully considering their social implications.

Luckily, my friends find this more amusing than detrimental. I also often miss sarcasm, and tend to get trolled, unintentionally, a lot as a result.
What I’m doing with my life
...is much what you might expect for a twenty-something year old; wandering around and trying to find my place in cleaning up this enormous damn mess.

I'm attempting to get in better shape. I want to preempt the years of poor nutrition and inactivity before they cause serious health problems. I'm also keenly interested in Soylent.

Game development! I remain convinced that video games can be a potent weapon in the arsenal of education.
I’m really good at
... vibrating my eyes. Ask me to show you sometime; you'll almost certainly be disturbed. (Possibly to the point of revulsion?)

I'm also not bad at holding views which are unpopular and defending them with more than mere opinion.
The first things people usually notice about me
...is probably my voice. I've been told it's quite soothing and deep.

Apparently, I put a friend of mine into such a deep state of relaxation with my voice that they simply fell asleep. I might have missed my calling as a hypnotist. (or possibly as a lecturer.)

You might also notice my beautiful, sculpted lips and sincere smile! :)

I'm annoyed by the lack of vocal, belligerent libertarians on this site. Why don't none of y'all love Rand 'round here? >:[

How much video games have influenced my thinking. A few memorable quotes:

"The need to be observed and understood was once satisfied by God. Now, we can implement the same functionality with data-mining algorithms."

"The essence of balance is detachment. To embrace a cause, to grow fond or spiteful, is to lose one's balance. After which, no action can be trusted."

"It is a medical commonplace that the tissues of the body replace themselves regularly: essentially creating a new body every seven years. From whence them come cancers and the slow degeneration of age. They exist as faults in the pattern of intelligence within the genes themselves. By re-programming these smallest parts: the whole becomes well."
On a typical Friday night I am
... working.

My recreational time is split between reading, watching films, social drinking, conversation, and video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My given name is derived from the ancient Hebrew and means "God is my judge." I take this to mean that we should judge our actions by their concrete outcomes, and not necessarily by any abstract ideals of behaviour.

I find social interaction a bit stressful because I have a difficult time reading people, but you'd probably observe that easily if you met me (I will likely ramble and avoid eye contact; making an accurate read even more difficult: go figure). I prefer a direct, open, honest style of communication.

There's also a lot of potentially embarrassing/private things in the questions section. Why not just check that out?
