My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a special, unique, beautiful snowflake who understands how utterly insignificant, messy, and temporary being a snowflake is?

I enjoy fun, good humor and stimulating conversations -- Internet dating generally saps my will to live. Looking for cool dude to make me believe!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a cool job at a small non profit, where I help teenagers invent and then build crazy assistive tech inventions for people with disabilities. Sometimes I make the teenagers wear silly hats. It rules.

I also am a painter/illustrator and sometimes I show stuff places, occasionally "DJ" places (In parenthesis because I mostly just half-assedly fiddle with playlists in exchange for free booze) once in a while do film/photography work and often make dumb useless stuff for fun. (see headpiece in profile picture) Ask me about my Bob Seger browser extension!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting strangers to tell me their life story without me asking, starting the dance party, winning at card games, jenga, drawing portraits of my friends and/or their dogs, collaborating, problem solving, road trips.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Authors: I enjoy fiction and non-fiction in equal measure: Truman Capote, Alice Walker, Ray Bradbury, Richard Brautigan, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie etc etc

Movies: I love a good film, but I hardly ever sit down and watch them. I guess in general, I like stupid funny movies, old westerns, documentaries, Cool Hand Luke, The Warriors, Jurassic Park Repo Man blah blah blah

Shows: Arrested Development, Game of Thrones Broad City Key & Peele, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Star Trek: TNG, Nathan for You, Rupaul's Drag Race and of course, The Simpsons

Music: I am a dedicated appreciator of the best (and occasionally worst) that any genre has to offer.

Just to name a very few: Otis Redding, Elvis Costello, The Velvet Underground, Television & Nina Simone.
Stevie Wonder, Thin Lizzy, Missy Elliot, Sam Cooke, Black Sabbath, The Gun Club, Jonathan Richman, Paul Simon, The Mountain Goats, Radiohead, Habib Koite, Brian Eno, David Bowie, Irma Thomas, Kendrick Lamar, Woody Guthrie, The Raincoats, Suicide, Etta James, Bruce Springsteen, Spiritualized, Ray Charles, Ledbelly, The Dictators, Patti Smith, & Dolly Parton. lots and lots more

I am also nerd for Podcasts.

I like most food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
+Stuff to make other stuff with (Paper, pens, pencils, paint, wires, tape, knives, cardboard, a computer, etc)
+Other people (particularly good, fun people)
+A sense of humor
+A healthy curiosity about the world
+A scheme for the future/problem to solve/trip to plan, etc
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What a god damn lucky motherfucker I am!

Regular things like wondering what the future will look like (next year, in 100 years, etc) education, evolution, people I know, places I've been or want to go, the universe, music, current affairs, the last thing I read, my next projects, and how to make the world around me better, if only marginally.

I sometimes work with an NGO in Liberia - I try to think about that a lot, so as to keep all the other BS I think about in perspective, keep my head out of my ass, and to do a better job thinking about what the future should look like, and to remember how goddamn lucky I am when I do things like enjoy indoor plumbing and clean drinking water and stuff.

I also think about fun things like drag queens and baseball and Game of Thrones. Those things specifically, more then I should, maybe.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Somewhere with at least two of the following things:

-music playing
-cool nature
-dancing (even if just in the kitchen)
-a good crew of friends
-beer, gin or whiskey
-a paintbrush, pastel, pencil or pen
-a good laugh or five
-something cookin'
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am mildly dyslexic and I wear glasses because when I take them off I have a little bit of a lazy eye. Hopefully you think lazy eyes and the ability to read backwards are endearing?
