My self-summary
A stage flooded with colored lights, the hum of amplifiers, and the sound of those crowd who are singing along with all the words. Among the many things I enjoy doing, nothing quite reaches that level of excitement. During the weekends I can often be found at various clubs and bars in Louisville or Lexington, either playing music or supporting another local group.

Aside from my more musical side, I'm always happy to go on biking adventures and experiencing new parts of the city. I'm also a fan of hiking and camping and want to find more opportunities for these activities as well. I'm always looking for people to join me on these experiences or to get me into something completely new and different.

When I'm not out and about, I have a close-knit group of friends that I love spending time with and am always thinking of the next event I could host at my place. I'm not looking for a primary partner at this time.
What I’m doing with my life
I have an overly full schedule that is taken up either with work, school, music, or friends. I rarely get a moment to myself and love it that way. I've recently taken to using google calendar to try and make sense of it all.
I’m really good at
Cooking, planning trips and vacations, and I think I'm getting better at hosting parties.
The first things people usually notice about me
That my sarcastic remarks don't quite fit with my kind demeanor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like reading books that are immersive like Neil Stephenson's Anathem. Any author that can immerse me in a story, either through a creatively written setting or believable characters is something I really value. I've been reading some Lovecraft stories and Sherlock Holmes lately. Any good recommendations?

Movies that can do a lot with nuance and subtlety are appealing to me. I've enjoyed Manhattan, Lost In Translation, and The Bicycle Thief. I'm not above watching Sharknado though.

Music is one of my favorite topics but would definitely require a lengthy discussion. I will say though, that my life is complete now that I've seen Neutral Milk Hotel play live this past year.

I like almost all food that is vegetarian, and have a soft spot for indian, vietnamese, or thai food.
The six things I could never do without
The wind through my face as I bike down a hill, the sound of my friend's laughter, the gurgle and "fwoosh" sound my coffee pot makes in the morning, various mechanical and electronic means of creating music, quiet nights flipping through pages to visit an author's world, and my spider-sense to keep me safe.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next big adventure. Should I go somewhere new or maybe visit a place I've been but would like to see again? The options are endless.
On a typical Friday night I am
Schlepping my guitar and amp into my car to head off to a show or unwinding with some friends.

You should message me if
The type of person I find attractive tends be passionate about getting outside in the community or nature. They can keep up during conversations across a broad range of topics and have an artistic or expressive side to them. If that sounds like you, send me a message and let's chat more...
