My self-summary
Happy New Year!

Here are some personal highlights from my 2015:
• Foo Fighters concert at Wrigley Field
• Blackhawks Championship and rally at Soldier Field
• Going to Jamaica for the 1st time with a big group of friends
• Welcoming my twin nieces into the world
• Watching the Cubs eliminate the Cardinals in the playoffs
• Eating a Kuma's Corner burger for the 1st time
• Spending Thanksgiving in Austin with family
• Watching Star Wars (lived up to the hype) and The Night Before (funniest movie I've seen in ages)
• Going to Vegas for the 1st time (Where my best friend and I won a combined $40,000 at the Blackjack table the last night. I did my part winning -$700 of it, haha. It was surreal though and he was able to pay off his entire wedding the following weekend!)

Anyway, I'm actually in the process of re-writing my profile for a fresh start in 2016, but for now... here's a little about me and who I'm hoping to find.
What I’m doing with my life
Basically, I'd like to consider myself a hopeful romantic who just hasn't met the right girl yet. I'm genuinely fun, happy, optimistic, and nicer than most people. I have a great career, excellent health, nice teeth, a good head of hair, and look like my pictures. I've never been arrested, don't have any STDs, and I'm not a player, cheater, d-bag, or stage-5 clinger!

I like to keep active, so I crave new adventures, challenges, traveling, constantly learning, and trying new things.

I'm definitely into fitness. I enjoy running, working out, and I play on some softball and volleyball teams. If you're into sports, I'm a Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, and Illini fan. No worries if you like other teams; I'm always up for a friendly rivalry with some trash talk and ridiculous bets!

Family is important to me; my parents and siblings raised me with values, so I always try to do the right thing and be a gentleman. I care about things like the environment, animals, and helping others.

At the same time, I'm really just a chill guy so I can get pretty ridiculous and have fun in nearly any situation. I'm also a bit sarcastic and playful when I really click with someone, so hopefully you can take it and dish it out!

As for what I'm looking for... I'm really into active, open-minded, adventurous girls. Kindness is incredibly attractive to me too. So, you'll definitely grab my attention if you're into trying new things and especially if you happen to be a nurse, teacher, or someone that helps others. Physically, I'm often attracted to girly, athletic, brunettes and redheads. Honestly though, these aren't silly requirements. There are so many exceptions and I'm totally open-minded!
I’m really good at
• Athletic activities and most sports
• Being a cool uncle to my nieces and nephews
• Working with computers and electronic gadgets
• Paying attention to details (your new outfit, haircut, etc)
• Taking time to enjoy the simple things in life
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a dashing, athletic guy, with a unique shade of dark auburn hair, and I look younger than my age.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Just read Modern Romance by comedian/actor Aziz Ansari. Seriously, if you're on this site, do yourself a favor and pick it up. It's not only funny, but very insightful too.

Movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, Super Troopers, Eternal Sunshine, Life of Pi, Star Wars, Back to the Future.

Shows: The League, New Girl, HIMYM, Silicon Valley, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Arrested Development, The Office, Seinfeld.

Music: mostly alternative, rock, and some pop, but I like many genres. All-time faves include Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Linkin Park, Pearl Jam, 311, Weezer, Incubus, and Chevelle. Recently: Kacey Musgraves.

Games: Cards Against Humanity, Mario Kart, Fallout 4, Heroes of the Storm.

Food: Love Italian and Mexican cuisines, but not picky at all. I could probably eat pizza, pasta, or Chipotle almost every day if I didn't try to eat somewhat healthy.
The six things I could never do without
Chicago, challenges, chocolate, cheese, Chipotle, chips & guac.

Wow, who knew so many wonderful things begin with those 2 letters? After the first few, I just had to keep going with it. I actually think that's a pretty solid six right there. I know, I know... I left out some other good ones like chicken, chili, Chinese food, cherries, chapstick, Christmas, and Chewbacca. Too bad craft beer doesn't have an H in there.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Besides girls, my next meal, and fun social/weekend plans?
• How to become kinder, wiser, and more productive
• Science and the mysteries of the universe
• What races and events I should sign up to do
• How soon I can visit family and friends in TX, FL, and Australia
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
ENFJ personality... pretty rare, especially for males.

Also, I've honestly never had a bad 1st date. I'm sure some of you are calling BS, but it's true. Granted, I'm not saying there's always been a connection, but my dates and I have always at least had interesting conversations and a good time.
You should message me if
You're cute, fun, and like my profile. Pretty simple, right? Bonus points if you include some asterisks at the beginning of your message (*****) so it stands out in my Inbox.

Look, people spend way too much time doing the "online" part of online dating, and not enough of the "dating" part. Let's change that! So, if you want to go on a fun date and my profile intrigues you... let's exchange a few messages, then get right to the point, and make plans to meet up. :)

Good luck to everyone in 2016!
