I'm a fun, genuine, high-quality guy from the NW side of Chicago. I'm currently living in nearby Des Plaines, but I'm contemplating a move back to the city this spring. Like many, I'm just looking to meet some women outside of my social circle and see what happens. If a long-term relationship were to come out of this, that'd be awesome. If not, I'm still interested in going on some fun dates and perhaps making new friends too.

I like to stay active, whether it be sports (playing softball and indoor/beach volleyball), running, working out at the gym, exploring the city, going on spontaneous adventures, or other activities.

As for my career, I currently work for a well-known insurance company in the technology department. I really enjoy it because every day presents new challenges, I get to meet a lot of different people, I'm not tied to my desk, and I work for a company that actually helps people.

I'm close to my family and would do anything for them. They raised me with strong values and morals, so I always try to do the right thing. I really care about the environment and helping others. What I don't care about is trying to be "cool" or impressing anyone because I'm already happy with the person I'm becoming.

I also enjoy traveling, going to concerts, trying new things, challenging myself, and I never want to stop learning. In fact, I'll be the first to admit I'm still trying to figure out many things in life. Women could possibly be #1 on that list!

Books: I prefer classics like The Great Gatsby, Catch-22, etc. That being said, I've read some of The Hunger Games and now I'm starting on Game of Thrones.

Movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Anchorman, Super Troopers, The Hangover, Office Space, Wedding Crashers, The Matrix, Star Wars, Fight Club, The Boondock Saints, Serendipity, Groundhog Day, Back to the Future.

Shows: The League, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Parks & Rec, New Girl, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Whale Wars, Seinfeld, Family Guy.

Music: Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Weezer, 311, Linkin Park, Incubus, Pearl Jam, Three Days Grace, The Black Keys, Rise Against, Chevelle, Superbus. This is mostly alt-rock music but I like many other genres too.

Food: I love breakfast food, but Italian and Mexican cuisines are my overall favorites.
