My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Tired of lazy, misspelled emails from guys who don't read your profile? How about the one-liners, unoriginal copy/pasted messages, sex propositions, and old creepy men hitting on you?

Let's face it... it definitely takes some effort, timing, and luck in this crazy world of online dating. But hey, nothing of any real value comes easy in life, right? Somehow it's ALL worth it when you find the right person.

Anyway, I'm confident there's still some amazing single guys (and girls) on this site. If you continue to read my profile, hopefully you'll consider me one. :)

**** Here's what you really want to know: ****
I'm fun, genuine, happy, independent, and nicer than most people. I promise you that I have a great career, nice teeth, a full head of hair, and I look like my pictures. I've also never been arrested, don't have any STDs, and I'm not a player, cheater, d-bag, or stage-5 clinger!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Born and raised on the NW side of Chicago, I lived in Wicker Park after college and currently reside in nearby Des Plaines. I do love this Rosemont-Schaumburg-Arlington Heights area, but there's a chance I'll move back to the city this spring or summer.

I like to keep active, which includes playing/watching sports, running, working out, concerts, festivals, live comedy shows, traveling, continually learning, spontaneous adventures, and conquering new challenges.

If you're into sports, I'm a Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, and Illini fan. I'm always up for a friendly rivalry though! I also play on a few softball and volleyball teams for fun.

I'm close with my family; they raised me with values, so I always try to do the right thing and be a gentleman. I care about things like the environment, animals, and helping others.

At the same time, I'm really just a chill guy so I can get pretty ridiculous and have fun in nearly any situation. I'm often sarcastic and playful when I really click with someone, so hopefully you can take it and dish it out!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
• Sports and fantasy football (for those of you who play)
• Being a cool uncle to my nieces and nephews
• Working with computers and electronic gadgets
• Paying attention to details (your new outfit, haircut, etc)
• Taking time to enjoy the simple things in life
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a dashing, athletic guy, with a unique shade of dark auburn hair, and I look younger than my age.

Food: Italian and Mexican cuisines. I could eat pizza, pasta, or Chipotle almost every day if I didn't try to eat somewhat healthy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Chipotle, chips & guac, cheese, chocolate, challenges, and (of course) Chicago.

Wow, who knew so many wonderful things begin with those 2 letters? After the first few, I just had to keep going with it. I really wanted to add an "h" into craft beer so it could make the list too. And yes, there are even more good ones: cherries, chapstick, Chinese food, chili, etc.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Besides girls, my next meal, and fun social/weekend plans?
• Dating and social dynamics
• Science and the mysteries of the universe
• What races and events I should sign up for this spring/summer
• How soon I can visit family and friends in FL, TX, and Australia
• My NCAA March Madness brackets
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've honestly never had a bad 1st date. I'd like to think that means something, but perhaps I've just been lucky. Granted, I'm not saying there's always been a connection, but my date and I have always had a fun time and interesting conversations.

Also, I may want to get a dog one day and name him Bark Vader.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
• You're into sports/fitness, traveling, live music/comedy, and trying new things.
• You want to see Billy Joel or the Foo Fighters at Wrigley Field in August.
• You're cute, fun, girly, and like my profile!

Note: If you message me first, please include some asterisks (****) at the very beginning so it stands out. This helps me filter out spam and people who didn't read my profile.

I hope you all find the person you're looking for on this site!
