I'm currently working on a Ph.D in history of art at UEA, so I spend most of my days with my head in a book or staring blankly at a laptop screen waiting for inspiration. I'm currently in New York City doing some research, but return home in December.
Being old and decrepit as I am, my idea of a good time is sitting in a pub until they won't let you sit there any more, talking and possibly even playing a board game. I'm not a fan of self-professed crazy-hyper-zany people or the noise they make. I'm not really into sport, not even football or cricket, which I suppose on some level makes me deeply unpatriotic. I have a soft spot for darts though, and imagine myself to be a dynamite pool player.
I'm a comedy nerd and like to see stand-up shows whenever I can. I even interviewed Richard Herring once. I own some books, music and films.
