My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So hi, lol. My name's Tammy. My roommate tells me I'm an INFP? I think that's correct letters. I think it's just a fancy way of saying I'm shy. Don't let that scare you off though! I am perfectly capable of talking to people. I just probably won't be the one to start the conversation. I live in Waltham. I sell billiard and game tables for a living. I volunteer once a week at the MSPCA. I'm trying to teach myself the ukelele but I'm finding that I'm not the best teacher. If you know how to play, please message/help me! ;) I have 2 parents, 1 brother, 1 sister, 2 nephews, 2 nieces and 2 cats. I'm currently reading 3 books: Assasination Vacation by Sarah Vowell, Paddle Your Own Canoe by Nic Offerman and The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling and I just finished Yes Please by Amy Poehler. I have a very close bond with my Netflix account but I don't think it feels the same way about me. So yeah, that's me in a nutshell. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just trying to live it and not make the world worse than when I found it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Spouting out random trivia and facts that no one needs to know (I kill at Trivial Pursuit and Jeopardy) and remembering conversations and people from years ago, it's a blessing and a curse.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, my guess would be either the short hair, dimples or laugh. I'll ask around and get back to you with a more definitive answer.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

A few of my favorite things:
1) Bands/Singers: Let's just say a lot, really anything but the country-pop crap that's all the rage today but if you're into Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams or any of the other country old timers, we can definitely hang
2) Movies-anything by Wes Anderson, especially "The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou", I recently saw "Inside Llewyn Davis", in fact if you look like Oscar Isaac you should stop reading now and message me (mmmmmrowrrrrr), The Dark Knight, Amelie, X-Men: First Class, The Life of Brian, any Muppet movie (still love them, yes I know I'm in my 30's), Lord of the Rings, Pineapple Express, Knocked Up, and many, many more
3) TV Shows-First and foremost-The Mighty Boosh (if you haven't checked them out, do, you will not be disappointed) How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Community, Raising Hope, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, Flight of the Conchords, Game of Thrones, IT Crowd, Top Gear (only the UK version), Portlandia, 2 Broke Girls
4) Book- The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern and anything by David Sedaris and Sarah Vowell, Game of Thrones, biographies-auto and non
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Really, if I had to, I suppose I could live without most things. Do I want to? Nah, I like my DVR too much.
But anyways, I'll play along:

An alarm clock because otherwise I would get nothing done except sleeping
My bed
Mum's shepard's pie
and one more just to prove how nonconformist I am: lightbulbs
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
It would be easier to tell you what don't I spend my time thinking about. From the grocery list to world peace (only on my off days), I live in my head but don't worry, I'm completely capable of carrying on an adult conversation. I'm also completely capable of carrying on a childish conversation. ;)

Oh yeah, and why so many guys on this site have "thecat" in their username. Quoi?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I could be like the cool kids on here and go on and on about how my weekends consist of getting boozed up on some craft beer and listening to my friend's band play at some dive bar but the reality is I'm usually home, checking my email and going to bed around 11. Which I suspect is what most others are also doing. How do you people afford to drink like you do? Not that i have anything against craft beers mind you. It's just if everybody's out doing the same thing, why are we all still single?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm here looking for an actual relationship and not just a hook up. Shocking, I know. It's proving more difficult than the folks at OKcupid would have you believe.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you can deal with a girl who has the mouth of a truck driver (I'm a classy lady) but seriously, just message me already. I won't least not right away. ;)
