I am happily seeing someone and am really not interested.

Okay, with that said, anyone just looking for the aforementioned things should leave.

About me:
I am a self-styled writer and philosopher. I always have an opinion, and I am always willing to start an argument by evoking emotions and opinions that no one wants to touch on, and I may not even personally believe in (seen 12 angry men? I am "that guy"). I like the "little guy's" story to be heard, even when it is conflicting with my own.

I am a good listener. I may talk a lot, but I have learned, especially in my years since beginning high school, that people want to be heard. I am an impartial ear in a rough situation, and a secret keeper and confidant for those that want one. I am a good mediator in arguments as well; a job for which I am constantly employed.

I, above all, strive to be an individual and that has (at times) caused me to make decisions that I normally wouldn't have made, simply to not follow the pack. Some of these decisions I regret, and others I have turned into amazing opportunities to do new things.

Well, I think I have said enough, so if you want to... talk at me!

I am intellectual, musical, and a bit self conscious

I'm working currently as a computer technician (yes, girls can fix computers). Previously I've been a wench at a ren faire, a cashier at a local pub, and done fast food prep. I have experience in food service, lifeguarding and nannying, and a partially finished degree in speech pathology and psychology (I'm sticking with fixing computers though- they usually whine less than people).

I am a musician. I am not studying it in school, but I could not live without music. I play the oboe, a bit of flute (specifically irish flute which is amazing). I started out on the clarinet, and played bass guitar, alto sax and tenor sax in high school. I am now trying to learn to play the irish fiddle. Along with all of this, I am a trained vocalist, and am learning to play guitar- like I said above... I am a musician.

I am a dancer. I have been dancing since I was 4, and refuse to quit. I compete nationally in Irish step dance, and love it.

I've also recently started taking Kempo Karate and I love it. Kumite is fun, but I love doing kata- the discipline is beautiful, and when you do it right it looks like you're dancing.

I've been told that my eyes are very expressive, and that I have a nice smile.

I read everything that's fiction (non-fiction is alright, but not my favorite). Currently I'm re-reading Lord of the Rings, and I'll probably read The Chronicles of Narnia for the 15th time after that (I usually re-read them every summer.

I love all kinds of music- pretty much anything from classical to classic rock, celtic music, to punk, to 80's hair metal, and I've even gotten into country lately... but mostly just Miranda Lambert and the Dixie Chicks. Indie rock has a special place in my heart. (I will say this... I don't appreciate the "finer qualities" of rap or hip-hop. Sorry 50 cent, I just don't get it.)

Food choices would probably pizza, jelly beans, ice cream, paninis... you know, college food.

As far as movies go, I enjoy comedies (love Adam Sandler, can't stand early Jim Carrey). I like some action, but it HAS to have a plot and good character development (liked the first Pirates movie, disliked the next two). I also love old black and whites (Some like it hot, The Haunting, anything with the Marx Brothers, Sunset Boulevard). There just something in older movies that is SO lacking in movies made recently.

TV isn't really a big thing for me, but some of the shows that I take time to watch are the soup, older (late 90's, early 2000's) anime, firefly (on dvd =D), house, and NCIS, and older Adult Swim shows.
