My self-summary
Hello there :-) I'm going to let okcupid do some of the initial work in summarizing myself. According to them I’m friendly to strangers, experienced in life, political, adventurous, logical, optimistic, ambitious, romantic, love-driven and organized. While that's a good start, I'm pretty good at the following things:

An objective opinion. Think scientist; analyzing things is something I do naturally. Makes it easy for me to get out of whatever trouble or challenges I may find myself in ;-) If you're familiar with the Myers-Briggs personality test, I always test INTJ, but life has allowed me to develop the ESFP side of me as well.

Adventures! I tend to define myself by the unique life experiences I've had & how much fun I can have creating more of them. I have experiences that span five continents. I want to continue exploring all seven throughout my life. Hopefully with someone to share those experiences with. Except for Antarctica, I can go there by myself :-) A major experience I would enjoy having is finding someone to share my life with & eventually start a family, hence why I'm here. That will open the door to more adventures than I can even contemplate at the moment, even if it takes ::GASP:: a commitment to do it.
What I’m doing with my life
Going to school @ UW-Oshkosh majoring in Microbiology and attending medical school after (yes, i've been accepted).
I’m really good at
Learning new things & building systems. I'm naturally curious. At it's best (or worst) I can be very creative. I'm always "sniffing around" finding out new things, and figuring things out. I can also fix cars, bikes, motors, computers, and pretty much anything else I put my mind to figuring out.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm very observant. When they finally get into a conversation with me, they tell me my eyes shine through. Also that I shave my head, but that I can get away with it. Whatever that means.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Always changing from my most recent experiences, but here are some that are ancient.

Books: Nonfiction- Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies; Collapse: How Societies choose to Fail or Succeed, both by Jared Diamond; Fiction- 1984, The Jungle, anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

Movies: The Green Mile, Fight Club, Schindler's List, Forest Gump, Happy Gillmore, Enemy at the Gates, Blow, Shashank Redemption & a lot more that escape me right now

Shows: Umm, I don't watch TV, unless someone else is watching. On the plus side I won't wanna watch something during your favorite show! ;-) I do have Netflix though & enjoy the occasional episode of Star Trek when I'm having a bad day.

Music: Dead Kennedy's, Korn (I've seen them live several times), Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Sublime, Beatles, Doors, Chuck Berry, Drop Kick Murphys, The Exploited, Flogging Molly, Hinder, Gun's & Roses, Lamb of God, ZZ Top, Pink Floyd, & Various other artists.
However, I can go days/months/maybe even years w/o music. Mostly because I didn't have music as a child, but I do (before I die) hope to learn how to play bass guitar, drums, and maybe something else just to expand my understanding.

Food: If it's fresh it's good, though I do enjoy the occasional fried food. When I cook (& I cook everyday) it's usually something like fajitas, smoked salmon, spaghetti, waffles, scrambled eggs, baked potato, peanut butter & jelly, etc. (Confession, I haven't lived w/ a microwave for over a year now!)
The six things I could never do without
Quarks, Leptons, Bosons, Photons, Gravity, and Hope. You know, all the little stuff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future, or the next three steps because thinking ahead any further is pointless.
On a typical Friday night I am
Currently I volunteer at a local emergency room, but all of the following have happened: Catch a train to Frankfurt at 2200 and get home at 0600 the next morning. Stay at home read a book and fall asleep by 2200. Watch movies with my barrack buddies till we all pass out. Go to a dance club and jam out to some excellent rock music. Stay in and cook for five people and tell stories about back home. End up at an ice-skating rink (even though I've never ice-skated before) and fall on my butt a few times, but still manage to have a good time!? Noticing a pattern yet?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My name is Joseph, but my friends from high school call me Tito. Hence my screen name.
