My job has allowed me to travel to some great cities within the continental US. Perhaps the best place I got to go was Boise, Idaho. Honestly, it's gorgeous there and the weather in the summer isn't too humid. The people are great and for a 'major' city, parking was plentiful and the only traffic was caused by a red light. I've also gotten to go to Orlando, Minneapolis, Chicago, Rochester and some long layovers in Colorado and San Fran (worse part about going to Boise is you can only connect through Colorado or San Fran on United).
Outside of work and the cool places I've gotten to see, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, going to the range, and working out. I really would like to learn how to golf one of these days but I cannot find anyone with the patience to teach me. For now, I just stick to mini-golf.
In college, I threw the shot put and continued throwing after college for two years. I was forced to stop because of a pain I developed on my throwing side. In graduate school, I was able to stay connected to the sport by coaching and still cheer for some of my training mates and competitors as they continue their careers.
Family and traditional values are very important to me. I'm a Catholic and a Conservative. I keep up-to-date with current events and am very knowledgeable on the issues.
I'm looking to find a woman that is funny, smart, and shares the same interests (or some of the same). Eventually, I would like to get married and have a family, but I'm not looking to rush into anything for the sake of having it now.
