Grew up mostly in Georgia, went to school at the College of Charleston, and then lived in San Diego for five years. I was an environmental analyst there, but went back to school to get my teaching certificate. I've been back in Georgia for the last seven years to be closer to family.
(So I'm not sure if you know this or not, but an elementary school is not exactly the best place to meet a man... so here I am!)

Will Ferrell, Modern Family, and Jimmy Fallon make me laugh out loud. I do enjoy watching sports after growing up with two brothers and a dad that are all sports fans. Damn you Falcons- such a tease!

I'm kind of stuck in the 90's alternative music scene: Tool, Rage, NIN to name a few. But thanks to AltNation, Mumford & Sons, Black Keys, Manchester Orchestra, and The Lumineers are now on my ipod.

I have a subscription to National Geographic and read it monthly- don't hate! It's my connection to the scientific world that I'm no longer a part of.
