I have several degrees in computer related things, and I enjoy programming in my spare time and professionally. I am also an avid endurance athlete: I ride my bike about 150 miles a week during the summer, I climb mountains in Colorado during the winter, and I'm terrible at all sports that involve a ball. I have lived on two continents, been to three, and would like to make it to all seven. I just started distilling my own whiskey.

As a rule, I don't watch movies or TV shows; there are exceptions, but not many. I listen to lots of music from Meshuggah to Gavin DeGraw to Eric Whitacre to Dave Matthews, and I really enjoy live music. I drove 10 hours each way to see Pearl Jam, for example. I was trained on the violin, viola, and piano in the Suzuki method for 15 years, I marched in a drum line, I sang in a band. Really, I like any kind of music that takes talent to perform or write.

I'm not really much of a food guy (I eat a lot of it, but I don't know anything about it). I like anything spicy, Indian is definitely a favorite. I wouldn't be crushed if I could only eat pizza for the rest of my life, though.
