I am here to meet positive, thoughtful and compassionate people with whom I strongly share interests and values. My primary focus is developing intimate friendships. I also like meeting folks just to hang out and do something fun. I particularly enjoy visiting with travelers and meeting locals when I travel!

I work full-time in a medical / social-service type job and I'm dad to three great kids who live with their mama. I share time with my kids am average of every other day. So I can certainly be busy sometimes!

When I am choosing how to use my time, I greatly enjoy traveling near and far, being in nature hiking , camping], eating great vegan food and helping out with positive projects of various flavors.

I would also like to take classes such: other languages, bicycle repair and maintenance, yoga and various forms of defense training - Krav Maga seems promising. It would be very nice to meet folks who share these interests and want to study with me!

I am also contemplating my more formal educational options and am leaning towards a career in Nursing though honestly I am hoping to be convinced that something I am even more passionate about can be a realistically better choice for me...

Books: Mostly non-fiction travel & "how-to" guides, zines or graphic novels.

In general, I like music that makes me feel and/or that has a positive message.

Food: I'll try almost any vegan food at least once but I generally prefer wild, raw, local, organic, natural foods. I'm particularly fond of blueberries, watermelon, fresh multi-colored salads, hemp foods, dark chocolate with nuts, kombucha, Yerba Mate, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, Ethiopian, Greek and Lebanese.

Why limit myself to six when my backpack (a near constant companion) is nearly overflowing with helpful things?!

Friendship, social justice, personal freedom, traveling near & far, being in nature, education and gear that I'd like to have...

Preferably sharing it with you! Then what we do isn't so important. On my own I'm often found strolling through the woods, daydreaming about travel, sitting in a cafe or snuggled up with a book.

I'm not likely to be mixed into any loud and/or crowded scene.

Though Friday night isn't usually a good night for me to go out...

My room tends to look like a crowded storage unit...
