Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a cool, normal guy. I feel obligated to be clear on my
normalcy because from what I hear there are A LOT of dudes that are
not normal doing online dating, but I promise you, I am normal. I'm
also fun, kind, well adjusted, and happy. I have been in some great
relationships with some phenomenal women, but I still find myself
searching for that elusive "One", and I guess online dating is as
good a place as any other to find her. My interests are diverse,
but include sports (more playing than watching), travel, and
hanging out with my friends and family. Don't worry though, I also
have interests that aren't the exact same as every other guy on
OKCupid, and they include meditation, playing a little guitar and
trying to make the world a bit better (really). I'm sarcastic, and
my sense of humor is pretty dry, but I do love the hearty belly
laugh which I have been known to do as well. I enjoy drinking craft
beers and doing guy stuff, but do pride myself on having contrasts
and enjoy performance art, I've been to Burning Man a few times,
and am very open minded about different people and experiences. I
can be a little goofy, but mostly in a charming way, and at the end
of the day I am a good man (again, really).
Now what about you? My needs are simple really. I'm looking for
someone who can convey with just a look that she got my dry joke,
even if no one else did; someone who wants to sit next to me, even
when it means leaving one side of the table empty; someone who sees
the little things, finds them amusing, and shares them with me;
someone I like referring to as “us” in conversations, and who
smiles when I do; and someone whose laugh makes me forget what I
was talking about. You don't have to be just like me, and in fact I
often really like women that maintain a foothold slightly outside
of the mainstream. It just makes things more interesting.
It shouldn't be too hard right? Someone once described "True Love"
to me as your best friend whose clothes you want to tear off all
the time. That sounds about right. I look forward to the
