I recently retired from a career in the field of IT. It would be nice to find someone at the same point in life who is ready to start the fun associated with the freedoms of retirement.
I have 2 grown girls and 3 grandsons.
In my pursuit to find Cupid and give him a piece of my mind about what a poor job he has done with my love life, I have taken up archery and found that I actually am pretty good at it. I competed in 3 tournaments this winter and won in each for my age class. I've been trying my hand at golf. (not quite as good at that).
I enjoy travel, the theater and nice restaurants. I also enjoy the water. I've spent many summers cruising on Long Island Sound in both power and sailboats. I enjoy being near the water and have a dream of one day owning a home overlooking the water. While I don't have a boat of my own now, I do get the opportunity on occasion to sail on adventures with my brother.
I'm not looking for someone to take care of me, and I'm not looking for someone to take care of either. I'm looking for someone to share lifes adventures with, to laugh and love with, who will smile every time I walk into the room, who is funny and caring, who enjoys the good things in life.
