I am silly, giving, and multi-faceted.

My Self-Summary

I'm mostly here to help a few of my closest friends find great partners, because they are incredible, deserving people! :)

Hm. I guess to fill the 500 character quota I shall list some random things about me:

I'm a great listener, and I tend to be everyone's bff.

I live in a nice house with two awesome dudes I met on the internet many years ago, one of which was the first person I ever chatted with back when the internet was a newfangled thing and AOL was about the only ISP widely available. In fact, most of my close friends are people I met via the internet or through other friends whom I met on the 'net. Hah.

I have a parrot (his name is snookums) and a cat (his name is Atreiu and no, he is not named after the band.).

I'm a big, big nerd. So of course, I love nerdy types.

I love video games, and I'm pretty darn good at the ones I put effort into.

I'm really quirky, and often witty.

I'm really bad at realizing that there's an IM waiting for me in my OKC tab, so I turned off IM capabilities all together to save everyone the trouble. But feel free to message me :)

What I’m doing with my life

living it, of course.

I’m really good at

friendships, crocheting, baking, making silly jokes, sarcasm.

The first things people usually notice about me

If I've got my hair all prettified, then that. Otherwise, I dunno, maybe my eyes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

This is going to get long, I warn you.

Books:
Let me preface this by saying that listed below are just a few books that I can see from where I am sitting and ones I can think of off the top of my head. I *love* reading and am often passing books back and forth with my friends. I've been an avid reader since childhood and there are few books I have read that I didn't enjoy on some level.

Owen Meany! If you know who Phedre & Joscelin are, we're probably going to get along. Vampire novels. Almost anything John Irving ever wrote. I own nearly all of John Sandford's 'Prey' novels. Loved Welcome to the Monkey House. I admit, sometimes I read romance novels, but not the shitty dime store ones with Fabio on the cover *shudder*

Movies: I love movies. I have seen so many bazillions of movies that I could never list them all. I enjoy dramas and comedies, and dig action flicks, they amuse me so much. However, I hate horror movies, generally speaking. Romantic comedies (usually) amuse me, too. I'm not too big into foreign film or indie flicks, but there are a handful of each that I have adored.

Music: It's probably easiest to just say what I *don't* like, which is generally rap (but sometimes I find one I like), super twangy country (same deal here, there's plenty of country I do like), death metal, or anything really really annoying. I know, that's not much help, but truly I listen to just about everything. There's even some truly horrible music that I just *love*, even though I *know* it's horrible. For instance, my housemate's got some shockingly bad german pop that amuses me from time to time.

Okay, that's all I've got on this section for today!

The six things I could never do without

friends, family, companionship/love, hobbies, music, computers/intarwebernet.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

the people I care about.

On a typical Friday night I am

working on a project of some sort, talking to/hanging out with my friends, playing video games, or watching movies.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm pretty open and there's little I wouldn't openly discuss but this box has made me draw a complete blank. I guess I'll come back to it later.

You should message me if

You are particularly awesome, nerdy, have a great sense of humor, are against douchebaggery, and looking for good conversation and/or a pal.
