My self-summary
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and went to college in the cornfields south of there. After, I had a choice between Nebraska and here. Seemed like an easy decision at the time.

I have a pretty dry sense of humor that sometimes gets me in trouble as far as being hard to read. However, I'm a pretty genuine person and try hard to balance being a smart ass with making real connections.

Obligatory "I hate this, lets just chat in person, blah blah blah"
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an engineer that plays with dirt a lot and tries to fool around with the 3D printer when possible. When not at work I try to have new experiences. Lately that seems to involve finding out what everything in my vicinity tastes like.

Trying to figure out how to make a career change to Muk-bang.
I’m really good at
I'm better than any computer at the Turing Test, booyah!
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my lack of hair? That or the deadpan expression after I said something that they can't decide if it was serious or not.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
-My favorite book is probably one of the asoiaf (Game of Thrones) books. #nerdlife I've been a geek about those for about a decade. I am open to and enjoy most literature though. I'm currently slogging through Capital in the 21st Century and have The Master and Margarita at the top of my "to read" pile.

-Indiana Jones and the original Star Wars. Harrison Ford was my hero growing up.

-Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad, just like everyone else my age.

-I tend towards classic rock and the blues. Or Taylor Swift.

-Food... almost all of it.
The six things I could never do without
1) Black coffee (although in a pinch any would do. If you take away my coffee I will cut you)

2) A mechanical pencil.

3) Thunderstorms.

4) New experiences: food, places, drinks, people.

5) Golden rings.

6) Lists that have as many elements as the smallest perfect number.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What's next.

An elaboration: where should I travel to next? Last year was Greece, Turkey, and the UAE. SE Asia, Argentina, US National Parks, 2 week camping trip? Tell me about your cool vacations.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I always thought the secretary in Ghostbusters was sexy.
You should message me if
The thought crossed your mind while you skipped over my profile or my pictures.

Maybe you want to go to a museum, comedy show, or sporting event? Sailing lesson or Techshop class?

Sassy, outdoorsy, adventurous eaters, and spontaneous people especially.
