My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a Colorado mountain boy at heart, but went eastwards for undergrad and then found myself in DC, by way of Istanbul, for five years. This summer I am excited to be discovering what living in Baltimore is like, venturing north from the sleepy hamlet of Williamsburg. After living on the east coast for almost 10 years, I think I like the east coast, even if I do miss real mountains. I love going on walks with no destination in mind. Like most people, I would like to think that I am smart and funny.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working through law school. I worked in the environmental sphere for five years and am pretty passionate about such issues, being an outdoorsy kind of guy. The idea is to be an environmental lawyer.

When time allows, I love rebonding with my loves of hiking, live music, cooking, biking, and boggle.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking; finding funky places; befriending new people; falling asleep in moving vehicles; accidentally breaking verbal social mores in conversation and thereby awkwardly putting my foot in my mouth.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think my hair and my laugh compete for attention.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Running with Scissors, Perfume, City of Thieves, Choke, Trainspotting, Clockwork Orange; most of the works by Vonnegut, McCarthy, and Murakami, nonfiction books that dabble in the minutiae of the history of everyday items (Salt, Nathaniel's Nutmeg...), plays by Sam Shepard and Christopher Marlowe, for contemporary fantasy look to Sanderson or Rothfuss.

Movies: Wes Anderson films are great...also...Run Lola Run, Titus, Princess Bride, American History X, Let the Right One In, No Country for Old Men, Raising Arizona, Haiku Tunnel, SLC Punk, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Being John Malkovich, Rushmore, Fight Club, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Drive

Shows: Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul (there are other shows out there I like, but come on nothing can compete), awkward British comedies also (Peep Show, Pram Face, IT Crowd, Red Dwarf, Black Books)

Music: I like a wide range of music from Delta Blues (Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf) to rock with a bit of twang (Oblivians, Young Rebel Set) to fun energy (Matt & Kim, White Stripes) to my old favorites (Strokes, Decemberists, Belle & Sebastian, Neutral Milk Hotel) to female fronted rock (Raveonettes, Camera Obscura) to Americana (Lambchop, Tom Waits) to electronic (Kavinsky, Justice, M83) to the local Colorado Bands that made me fall in love with live music (16 horsepower, Devotchka, Matson Jones), to swing revival (Squirrel Nut Zippers, Cherry Poppin' Daddies)

Food: Dumplings, Pineapple, Curry, Coq Au Vin, Brussels Sprouts, Cauliflower

3) Music
4) Green tea
5) Daydreaming about the future
6) Discovering new things
