Someone once said that truth is found in the word 'cliche', and I would have to agree. As much as we want to separate ourselves from the rest of the herd, we can't go two or three clicks without seeing the same headlines and bio fillers. What makes me unique? I am not here to put on a face and lie to yours. Who am I? They call me Travis...and I am your white and shining nerd.

I will be that guy across the way that you tell your girlfriends you couldn't see yourself with him, seriously his skin matches your white dress. I was that one boy who was always there for you when you caught your boyfriend flirting with another girl, or when you needed a shoulder to cry on. I will be the leader of the zombie revolution. I am that guy who loves the music that sounds like two transformers bumpin' uglies. He would like to think he is an artist, and make it big as a online DJ. I am the other face of Portland..that one...no, that one. Not the self entitled hipster, or the tree hugging hippie, but the entrepreneur with the next big idea to sweep silicon valley. He got a summer job with Google, and jumped out of a perfectly good plane. Who seems to do really well speaking in third person.

He is looking to have the cynic inside him proven wrong by a woman. One willing to advocate for emotional / mental connection before physical. It's easy to let 'evolution' play its part, but takes a true genuine human being to look past the cover and invest their time in something that might finally make them happy. Because happiness is found in the least likeliest places.

Finishing my BA in Web Development, and currently working on a Google project to bring programming capabilities to the disabled.

If I hadn't been a nerd, i'd be a Psychologist. I am good at listening and assessing why people do what they do--or don't do. I'd like to think I am good at art and music.

As if there were any question, Michael Bay, JJ Abrams, and James Cameron flicks are the top of my list. Whedon is also a great TV director with Firefly being his most recognized. I also love Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, Castle, and Game of Thrones
