(I am defining this as "My Outlook")

I am working on enjoying life more fully each day. I love learning more about the world and how things work. It is fun to enter into new situations and enjoy learning about the people around you.

If life has taught me one thing, it is that surprises may be just around the corner. It is how we handle the unexpected and learn from those experiences that defines us. We cannot change the past, but we can certainly work to make a better future for ourselves.

One of my missions in life is to kindle this fire for life in the people around me to explore life to the fullest and to enjoy things big and small. Once upon a time, my niece's grandfather remarked, when she was three, that she was just a child and still saw everything as new, unlike adults. I realized then -- This is a tragedy, each moment in life is new and should be savored and enjoyed, we should never lose that child-like spirit of newness and wonder at what is going on around us. There is marvel everywhere.

My Body ... I am lucky to be a well built guy, some say athletic.
My Eyes ... (No real comment here, except that I cheated for the first two and asked some of my lady friends!)

My Voice ... I get asked if I am in radio/media quite often. I may have to try it some day.

My Intelligence ... Now that I have opened my mouth, I might as well admit it. I know a thing or two about the world, my nickname at work is "Mosstradomus - Keeper of All Knowledge, Good and Evil". I haven't decided if they are joking or not.

I enjoy all sorts of books. I don't have "favorites", if they are there, I will read them.

Movies and shows

I am easy to please here. Favorites are typically (romantic) comedies, sci-fi/fantasy, and documentaries. I have also been known to watch sports from time to time.

Music.

I can tell a long story with this. We can save it for later discussion.

Food...

Some days it is a simple steak, others call for something more exotic. Good (hot) curries, good Caribbean food, Mexican, Italian, and then some; I love it all.

The sundeck overlooking the lake - I never know what kind of critters I will see on any given day.

Driving around in the car. Some days call for the super highway; some days, the road less traveled. It is a wonderful way to relax and experience the textures of life.

A good reading lamp. It has to have nice, good, ambient light for reading and not leave a great big white spot on the middle of the pages.

trying to figure out what to do when I look at the traffic on Georgia Navigator. I go in to work on Fridays, so I am up in Atlanta, so that I can find something to do afterwards.

Who knows what it will be?

I realized that I am really a redneck. The first time I saw a "Cartridge World" store, I thought, "What a neat name for a gun shop!". I was disappointed when it was a printer cartridge store.
