I'm originally from the mitten state, but I quickly called Chicago my home after a short time here. I lived in Europe as a teenager, and truly appreciate visiting other cultures and learning about different ways of life. I love stepping out of my comfort zone to challenge myself and I enjoy giving people a hard time. I have a thing for girls who throw it right back at me.

I'm always up for learning new things and trying new activities. I had knee surgery three months ago, so yoga and acupuncture have been my newest obsessions to help in my recovery.

After an unsatisfied career in corporate america, i went back to school three years ago and received my Masters from Loyola in social work. I now work with young children from low-income families as a case manager. I am passionate about working with under-privileged children and often look forward to work. My job requires a thorough understanding of Spanish so I have spent considerable time in Costa Rica and Panama to immerse myself in their cultures.

I also run a successful business on the side to provide tennis instruction to children of all ages. I am a certified tennis professional.

I am comfortable in my own skin.

Nothing more that I enjoy than seeing a movie on a random Tuesday afternoon. I love inspirational movies- how Edward bloom creates stories with his life in Big fish, the idea of keeping faith in Signs, and following your passion in Rounders.

Music is a huge part of my life. I sometimes keep my iPhone playing a quiet song in my pocket when I leave my desk at work. I love live music, but the thought of going to a large venue like the United Center isnt as appealing as Lincoln hall.

I recently bought a new book case. Going to try to fill it with new books every year.

Up for anything but you'll rarely see me at a crowded bar/club where people have to scream to have a conversation.

I enjoy all types of reality junk tv, especially the Bachelor and Bachelorette. I always claim it would be fun to have a drink/shot every time a girl sheds tears on the show, but getting tipsy on a Monday night sounds like a rough Tuesday.

I take my health and fitness very seriously. I recently started to juice vegetables! I am definitely looking for a girl who leads an active and healthy lifestyle. So important. However, I'm not crazy- I love pizza, a burger, tacos, just not every meal.
