My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a professional trend picker with an eye for finding and appreciating beauty and uniqueness in my work and beyond it- sometimes the world agrees, sometimes it does not. I am passionate about healthy and delicious food, fitness and giving back to this world which gives so much to us.

I care about how i do everything. I love running, bikram and other traditional yoga, movies, humor, live music, staying organized, traveling and above all, connecting with new and old friends.

I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to live in different countries and cities - before NYC home was Singapore and before that various cities in India.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, playing, experiencing the city and its inhabitants and the worlds they create.

Travelling - pleasure or work and pleasure - so far 30 countries, about 25/50 American states/cities! and there is so so much that's left.

Learning languages, cooking, growing stuff, making stuff, trying to be more self aware through yoga and breathing.

Taking pictures
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Thinking through, listening, dreaming, taking risks, growing plants, slowly learning new skills, filling my space with artful objects.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - my space these days is full of travel, food, cooking, photo, counterculture and art and design books - about a couple hundred of books and first issues of magazines purchased over the last ten years. Particularly love Indie magazines - Monocle, Hello Mr., Girls like us, Riposte, Extra extra, Adult magazine, Secret behaviour, Odiseo, Tissue, Gourmand, Inventory, Candy Magazine, Disegno, Conde-Naste Traveller etc. McNally Jackson, ps1 MomA bookstore, Rizzoli (reopening soon) Taschen, St Marks Book Store are some of my favorite places in NYC.

Some memorable reads - All of Tolkien's books (few more than the popular four), Golden Gate/Vikram Seth, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy/John Le Carre, Eye of the needle/Ken Folliet, The Parsifal Mosaic/Robert Ludlum.

Music - live music and exploring nyc performance spaces and bands for under $10 a night is one of my favorite things to do - Shea Stadium, Secret Project Robot, The Well current regulars.
Also into modern post slumdog bollywood music. L

Shows - NYTimes Travel Show - amazing healing place to go every winter - seriously!! The Wire - best TV show ever - the should stop giving out Emmies now that it is done or maybe not - Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Returned and True Detective are kickass too.

Movies - appreciate all well made movies except the ones made by Lars Von Trier but the kind I really get excited about are dark, soulful stuff like sometimes Tim Burton, Tarantino or George Romero make (yes zombie movies are soulful!). Like Underdog movies a lot too - yeah - go out and win it, yes you can! I have watched my fair share of world cinema and love it - Chinese, Japanese, HK, Indian, Singapore, Italian, French, German etc (love traveling the world thru movies!). Netflix subscriber since 2004.

Food - Seafood, all types of fruits, nuts, Granola, Grilled vegetables, Red Wine, Lebanese, Greek, Turkish Cuisine. Dark Chocolote and/or Stinky Cheese to celebrate something.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Access to clean air, water and healthy, yummy, nourishing food, friends, music and my yoga practice.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My creative contribution in this life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
typical Friday night is atypical - sometimes at home, or out chilling with friends, movies, live music, sometimes dancing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
