My self-summary
High/trash queer fat femme, poly, bossy bottom, politically radical, coffee drinker, book reader, unabashedly bad dancer, rugger, shit talker.
What I’m doing with my life
Uprooting it from DC and moving it to brooklyn.

In DC, it was this and that, bartending and counseling, sex educating and comedy writing, organizing for the dc femme collective, being a fat activist, whatever struck my fancy when the bills got too high, and eyeing a potential MSW/JD in the meantime.

In brooklyn, it's a lot more finger-crossing, building/losing the courage to talk to queers i've never met before, haunting coffee shops, looking for femme community, figuring out the queer dance party schedule, and eyeing paying gigs outside my skillset.
I’m really good at
Making jokes at the expensive of those I love, pumping sweet iron, picking queers out of a crowd (especially when they're flagging), arguing about everything in the known world, listening, baking, being overdressed, identifying the things that she said, knife-throwing, letter-writing, quoting the simpsons.
The first things people usually notice about me
A very loud, debilitating laugh, and I'm usually laughing. Also, an ever-increasing number of tattoos, glasses that are too big for my face, and a level of awkwardness that borders on the offputting.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I read a TON. Franny and Zooey is the best of all time, queer fiction a close second, memoirs of American ladies in the life during the twentieth century, oppression/liberation theory, leftist political fodder, almost literally anything - i devour books.

Movies/Shows: Strong female leads and shitty bro movies, every awful lesbian movie available on Netflix, Arrested Development, Simpsons, New Girl, Parks and Rec, SNL, anything quotable and giggle-inducing.

Music: Bluegrass/country jams and female-led dance pop, motown, the r&b of my youth, Fleetwood Mac, the Gossip, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Robyn, Slow Magic, Patsy Cline, By & By, Whiskey Gentry, most anything with a banjo feature.

Food: A hearty breakfast/brunch is far and away the best thing anywhere, and i am always impressed by hashbrowns done right. All guacamole everything, mango salsa, brussels, plums. Plus, as an ex-vegan, the value of cheese cannot be overestimated.
The six things I could never do without
The love and company of my friends
Good books, to read and re-read
Coffee, maybe with a little whiskey in it
Garish amounts of red lipstick
Chocolate
Sex
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to level systemic hierarchy; embodiments of masculinity involving boxer briefs; when and where I can have brunch next; tattoo ideas; how to work out physical aggression (as a former/future limbo-ed rugger); privilege/oppression; puns/general word play; fat/femme community; cowboy boots; my next move.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either tendin bar, bar hopping every queer dance party available with a flask and a seasonally inappropriate dress, or enjoying a fine Rocko's Modern Life marathon in the comfort of my own home with friends and tea and any cats available for cuddling.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really, really love my vibrator. And sometimes i non-ironically listen to ke$ha.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like girls
  • Ages 25–55
  • Near me
  • For new friends, short-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
you think you can beat me in an arm-wrestling competition; you have a cat; you want to recommend a good vibrator/book/lip stain; you wanna go out and dance; you wanna get coffee; you wanna talk about liberation justice and/or harm reduction; you wanna make out; you want to tell me your preferred pronouns; you have a particularly witty that's-what-she-said joke to share; you're a top with listening skills looking for a bossy bottom; you want to go hiking; you know a naturally-occurring body of water that needs swimmin in; you have great tattoos.
