I moved to this fair city from Beijing. Once I found a highly decent Sichuan restaurant in the ID, Seattle grew on me like a fine NW moss. Ah, so lush and green. Rain is infinitely easier to endure if it comes with a side of hand-shaved noodles and Tsingtao.
The only thing I love more than the first day I can finally bike around in a t-shirt is waking up to freshly brewed coffee on the trail. Yes, a Nalgene french press exists and it is more glorious than you could ever imagine.
I also highly enjoy (in no particular order) climbing mountains, Scrabble, muppets, very sharp pencils, sushi, backpacking, Ted Talks about neuroscience, crack climbing, sailing, anything written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, men in bow ties, working in my p-patch, picnics, and Welsh Corgis.
