Good fortune to live in South City, two pretty amazing daughters
(21 & 7, YES 21 & 7), job I don't hate. I do stuff-
museums, concerts, the Botanical Garden, parks, travel when I can,
check out new places (or old) to eat & drink. When not out I
like to read, listen to NPR, or some records.
Equally comfortable: at home reading a book or a Melvins show, at
MoMa or in the woods, dinner at Tony's or tacos on Cherokee.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now just being. I have my daughter a little less than half
the week- we play alot. When not with her I work, read, drink lots
of coffee, go to the park and or museum, and try to exercise on a
(somewhat) regular basis.
I’m really good at
Raising an amazing little girl!(Yes that's something one does!) My
job. Finding new places or things to do.
The first things people usually notice about me
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music- Neko Case/New pornographers, EyeHateGod, Naked Raygun,
Neautral Milk Hotel, Bad Brains, Lucero, Descendents, Willie,
Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, Drive by Truckers, Rush, Minute Men,
Middle Brother, Taleb Kweli, Fugazi, Jurassic 5, the Low
Food- I like food!!
Books- Deer Hunting with Jesus, Reading Lolita in Tehran, Pity the
Billionaire, Omnivores Dilemma, Tempting Faith, All Men are
Brothers, the Boston Review(magazine), Wendell Berry....
Movies- No Country for Old Men, Big Labowsky, Traffic, the Royal
Tenenbaums, Snatch, Melancholia...
Don't have a Tv but the Wire is the best show ever.
The six things I could never do without
Coffee, NPR/music, something to read, food, water, air.
Pretty much in that order.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where doe's that missing sock really go....?
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, then maybe out with friends for a bit. If there's a decent
band playing will try to catch it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Shhh, I'm not telling.
You should message me if
See something up there that you like, can relate to, or want to
know more about. Just ask.
