My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm from the Midwest and apparently it shows. I really enjoy science, video and board games, politics, order, chaos, nature, and puppies. I occasionally hug trees. Laughter and humor are beautiful things and both are core to my being. I am pretty goofy and also quite clumsy. I am left-handed, left-brained, and left-wing! My middle name is Todd.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a PhD in Plant Genetics from UCD. During the day I work for a law firm in downtown SF doing IP analysis. During the evening I spend significant amounts of time thinking about this and that, or eating ice cream.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
handling situations that cause most other people to have's a gift! I can also manipulate the fabric of life with biodegradable tools.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Lord of the Rings and all the books I read on the physics of time travel, they were very interesting

Movies: Donnie Darko, I Heart Huckabees, Forest Gump, Contact. I love cheesy horror and sci fi in general

Shows: Battlestar Galactica, True Blood, Weeds, Dead Like Me, Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time

Music: lots of different things, depends on the day. It's usually electrotrash.

Food: if it's edible I will probably eat it and love it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends and family, laughter, sunny days, my laptop, peanut butter, and resurrection hubs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I like to solve problems, so I tend to think about solutions to random problems I see at any moment.

I also spend some time thinking about the obvious things, like the concept of obviousness.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Solving for x, decoding the chaos, or salvaging emotional shipwrecks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think milk is awesome.
