Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
**Disclaimer: I feel I should mention my photos are predominately
fishing, primarily off the coast of the Dry Tortugas, 70 miles west
of Key West. I enjoy fishing but it's not my life, I just don't
have a ton of pictures of myself but want to show an honest picture
that allows you to see that my average body is not fat by any means
and the pictures are recent. This IS what I look like. So take it
for what it is. I do take a fishing trip once or twice a year and
have been trying to explore the NW fishing experience...though
totally different. :)
I am looking for my life partner. That said, I understand it won't
come overnight, but eventually we will meet! Trust, passion,
adventure, thoughtfulness, understanding, patience...Love.
Ultimately my best friend and my lover. Someone who can find the
beauty in the little things and takes the time to enjoy them. A
well rounded individual with confidence and stability. Someone who
likes adventure and experiencing new things. I'm silly, fun, and am
looking for someone similar, someone who doesn't take themselves or
life too serious too often. Someone who's real. Real fun. :)
I've been single a year now, I've had several serious
relationships, 5, 4 ,3 years... I'm not a serial dater but not
willing to settle. I'm not looking for an instant commitment but
the end goal is obviously a true connection, right? It begins with
getting to know one another and for exploring reach other, finding
the right fit... if you're open to taking the chance to meet,
that's where it'll begin, or end. right? No harm in a chance
encounter, only thing to lose is not taking the chance...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently a bank manager, but you'd never know it. Work doesn't
define me. It's a JOB. I wear a suit daily to work and jeans and
casual the majority of my real life. I'm spontaneous, love the
outdoors, day trips, hikes, camping, you name it. I'm very laid
back but very energetic, I'm always looking for something new to
explore. I enjoy jogging. I've run two half marathons (Bellingham
& San Juan) and would like to run more....and possibly a full-
we'll see. I enjoy trail running - super fun, and would like to try
an organized event.
I'm passionate about music, food, beer, animals, nature....I love
to cook. I try to see live music at least once a month. My taste in
music varies greatly, I enjoy nearly every style...try me. I like
football and hockey, reading a good book, exploring the wonders of
the PNW. We live in the most amazing place and the possibilities of
exploration are endless...day trips, weekenders, you name it!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Enjoying the little things...,.transforming the ordinary into
extraordinary! I've recently been told by several dates that I'm
much more interesting than my profile portrays...I guess I don't
disclose enough of who I am and how much I've explored, or lived.
I'm far more open and expressive in person...I did follow the dead
after all... :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile. I laugh a lot. I'm very positive, always trying to find
the good in whatever situation arises. Greatness lurks behind every
corner and within everyone, it just takes the time to find it or
perhaps extract it!

All of Matt Ruff's books, surprisingly loved Atlas Shrugged - I
fell in love with Dagney Taggert, Hunter S Thompson, love his
style. I've read some psychology on NLP that I really enjoyed, oh,
almost forgot how much I enjoyed Jitterbug Perfume.....to name a
I love music, pretty much all genres, though not necessarily all
styles...to name a few, and I'll undoubtedly leave some off:
Built To Spill
Jerry Jeff Walker
First Aid Kit
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Guided By Voices
And much more.....
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
IPA- SUPER HOPPY
Music, I'd probably die without music before I died from
Cell phone, it sucks but it's my lifeline, my computer, my music,
Outdoors and Adventure / exploration of it...
LOVE.... miss it and want it back! :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm an introvert by nature, you may not notice it, I've learned to
hide it well l but I'm constantly thinking, debating,
contemplating, diagnosing, reflecting, surmising, plotting,
planning, analyzing....You get it?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
seeing live music
taking a road trip
eating or cooking fine food
socializing with friends
relaxing from a long week
planning my next excursion
out looking for fun!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
as said earlier, I did follow the grateful dead... but I'm also an
indie / punk rocker at heart. go figure, I love all music and have
deep roots throughout!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You share my interests, if you're looking for love....I'm open for
dating (obviously marriage won't be found from a couple of text
messages!), but ultimately I'm looking for a long term
relationship. It's come to my attention that these sites are really
skewed, a poorly written or expressed profile. Or perhaps not
mentioning all that is dear to you, coupled with some shotty photos
and a potential good connection may be lost.....this is the
unfortunate side of online dating. I'm open to some emailing or
texting to get a feel for one another, but really would like to
meet sooner than later. Connections are made in person, not via the
internet.... if we share some interests, there may be many more,
really, how many can you list?
May I caution all, this will come across shallow but I've had too
many experiences that were misleading I feel I need to state
I am not interested in meeting up with overweight individuals,
sorry, this may seem shallow but it's true. I don't find it
attractive and we have no need in wasting one another's time. This
shouldn't be taken as I'm looking for perfection, I'm not. You
don't need to be skinny or athletic, if you are that's great. A few
extra pounds is great too! They can all be beautiful! Please don't
hesitate to respond, I've simply been on so many dates that the
individual states a few extra pounds but in truth outweighs
myself.....they're not being realistic. I don't want to limit
profiles to those that don't include a distance/body shot, but I
have been.... so here's my new attempt to avoid these situations.
