My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I procrastinate going to sleep...isn't that the last thing to procrastinate about? Add two hours to my start time of feeling tired and that's when I go to sleep. It's my fear that I haven't gotten enough done in the day. I want to accomplish a lot in 24 hours and sleep is a thief that steals eight.

I love hiking, camping, good conversation (current events/ history/how the world works/what you made for dinner) dancing, laughing out loud, running, meditation, live music, gardening, learning, music/film festivals, reading and TRAVELING.

I've lived in Honduras, India, Chicago, NYC, and now San Diego. I'm putting my wanderlust on hold for now.

I was taking group guitar lessons at the Kroc center! It was a good concept: one 70 year old, two 14 year olds, some teens, me and we're all trying to learn how to play "Wipe Out." But alas it doesn't fit in my schedule any longer and I'm forced to learn the guitar myself! Unless you can help me? You should message me if you can!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a degree in biology and elementary education. I worked in the non-profit field for 5 years in NYC. Before that I was teaching in Honduras. I'm currently in school studying acupuncture and I truly love it. It's really nice to feel that you've found what you're meant to be doing in life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
People notice I'm personable and genuinely like homosapiens. I'm a very curious person and ask a lot of questions. It's a turn on when you can answer them accurately/eloquently. I'm a life long learner. I love getting edjuh-macated.

I'm getting better at organizing projects and people. I'm convinced that one person can make a difference but it's easier if the whole community is on board...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
They notice that I'm brown. I used to have a shirt that said "Little Brown Girl." Some people found it offensive. But most people liked it and giggled accordingly.

I love many genres of music as long it's wonderful music and I like consuming my music LIVE. The last two concerts I went to were Wild Flag and Ravi Shankur. Which reminds me, I would love to go to either Austin City Limits or South by Southwest at some point in my life. Yeah, it's on the bucket list. The bucketlist bucket can't hold much more.

NPR, PBS
The New York Times
I really miss my New Yorker subscription

Favorite movie: I reeeally loved "Sita sings the blues."

Vivian Jaffe: Have you ever transcended space and time?
Albert Markovski: Yes. No. Uh...time, not space. No, I have no idea what you're talking about.

-from I Heart Huckabees
(I know it's not for everyone and that's too bad)

And the Daily Show! If I could I would. I would marry John Stewart in a heart beat. Intelligence mixed with a witty, goofy sense of humor is my type of man.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Sun. Earth.
Wind. Fire.
Paper.
Pen.
Taste, touch, sight...wait this is getting silly.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
"Life does not consist mainly, or even largely, of facts and happenings. It consists mainly of the storm of thoughts that is forever blowing, through one's head." - Mark Twain
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Chillin' with my homies.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm one of those people who had lazer eye surgery and it didn't work!

You can teach me something I want to know about and you're generous with your knowledge (most attractive quality for me!) Uh. Or you put two feet on the ground when you wake up in the morning.
