My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I moved to San Mateo from San Diego about 2 years and have been enjoying myself.

About me! I love entertaining, one of the bigest thing I like doing
is planning events. There is an art to creating an event....
cooking... drinking... games! I take pride in creating an
experience for people. The last get together was a James Bond theme with a martini ice luge, im now trying to figure out how to top myself. Sadly with the move I no longer have a balcony to be able to barbecue so my annual super bowl party plans are dwindling.

I truly enjoy movies. No really true story! I went to Fantastic Fest in Austin couple years ago and I plan to hit up SXSW at some point. I funded Zack Braffs Wish I Was Here on kickstarter and went to the Chicago screening. I have around 700 movies and my collection is growing. I collect Mondo posters. I am extremely exited they are opening an Alamo Draft House in San Francisco. If any of this made sense to you we will get along!!

I like indoor rock climbing, but i am no expert. My best is a 5.10b climb. If you have a planet granite membership or like indoor climbing message me!

Traveling is a must... I have lived in Oxford, England for a summer and have traveled all around for work and play. My top three places I had a fantastic time at; Paris, Berlin and London. Next stop is Munich Germany for Oktoberfest 2015.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well I use to be a "High Net Worth Consultant" for a large public company but I really need to change the pace of my life. I have a new job working for a small financial firm which is experientially better!

ALSO... I am trying to figure out these damn "micro" climates. Its sunny in San Mateo but bloody cold and windy in San Francisco... how does that work?
The first things people usually notice about me

Food: Sushi.... sushi.... sushi... did I mention sushi? I really will eat anything but I am not a fan of indian food. Okay, if I were stuck on an island and I had to eat indian food I would not have any problem eating it. I just never get this urge for india food.

Books: The Big Short, Gods Debris, 1984 (really), House of Leaves

Movies: I have been on an Alfred Hitchcock kick lately. Well heres a list!
Dark Knight, High Fidelity, Let the Right One In (swedish), Stardust, Wedding Crashers, Tucker & Dale vs Evil, Day Breakers, Departed, Casino, Evil Dead, The Run Down, Fight Club, District 9, History of Future Folk, Sinister, Drive, Serenity, Blood and ice cream trilogy (This is better know as Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Worlds End ), Headhunters, ALL THE MARVEL MOVIES, Dredd, ... there are more.. so many more

Okay I have to do this, terrible bad movies that I love: Deep Blue Sea (or as one of my favorit reviewers called it, the Shark Tank Redemption), Event Horizon, Demolition Man, Lake Placid, & Water World.

TV: Breaking Bad, Lost, South Park, Archer, BSG, Game of Thrones, Firefly, West Wing, Community, Top Gear, Doctor Who, House of Cards, Adventure Time, Archer, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Newsroom, Sherlock, Castle (just because of Nathan Fillion)

Podcast: One of Us, Nerdist, Serial, Accidental Tech Podcast, The Vergecast, Junkfood Cinema, How Did this Get Made, Hardcore History, Common Sense, The Talk Show, We're Alive!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
iphone, ipad, Macs, movies, car, sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If gravity were to reverse itself, how would I keep the change in my pockets?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I still think MacGyver is awesome...

I'm a social geek! I work in finance and manage about 200 clients... yet you will find me at Comic-con (for the last 5 years), film festivals, podcast recording, I want to check out exploratorium after dark , and I think Neil Degrasse Tyson is awesome. I would love to hear him speak at some point!
