My Self-Summary
I am an improvisational
comedian with a comedy troupe in Carrboro, NC. I have always had a knack
for making people laugh and finally decided to pursue my gift more
seriously in the Fall of 2005. I perform in both family-friendly
and more adult oriented shows at our theater. I love meeting new
people and would love for you to come to a show sometime and then
come to another one and then come to another one an so on and so
forth.
Another passion of mine is playing tennis. I travel all over the state playing in United States Tennis Association tournaments and am the former #1 rated player in my division. Every Tuesday night, I play in a men's doubles league in Mebane. I have made some really great friends in this league in Mebane that I wouldn't trade for the world.
I also enjoy several somewhat-nerdy activities:
- I am a big time fan of Family Guy and South Park.
- I play World of Warcraft when I have free time
- I like girly-music such as Enya, Enigma, Madonna, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Moby
- I am a web designer (my current bill-paying occupation)
- I am a pop culture trivia nut. A friend of mine recently referred to me as a "Walking IMDB" (imdb.com)
- I love Harry Potter books & movies
- I love Battlestar Galactica, LOST, and 24
- I love Who's Line is it Anyway
- I am really good at Dance Dance Revolution
- I am really good at Air Hockey
Some of my favorite movies:
The 40-Year-Old Virgin, The Matrix Trilogy, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Knocked Up, All Harry Potter movies, Airplane, etc.
I'll watch just about any comedy ever made. :)
I am often asked why I am single.
While I'm not extremely picky, I do have what I believe to be reasonable requirements:
- Honesty is very important to me. Habitual lying is also something I have no use for. I'm not into playing head games.
- A good sense of humor is a must! I joke around a lot and can't stand to be around a constant Gloomy-Gus (well... Gloomy-Gertrude since I don't date guys.) I know when to be serious, but laughter and making people laugh is a major part of my life and you must enjoy laughing if you're going to be around me.
