I don't jump out of airplanes, run marathons, rock climb or take my bike on 100 mile rides. I do hike a lot, swim when the water's warm, hit the gym 3x a week, cycle slowly in places with no cars, read constantly, practice my music, and explore the world with my SLR camera gear. I've traveled extensively, so I know lots of interesting spots to visit on long weekends and day trips.

I currently split my time between the Tampa Bay area and northern California, and I'm willing and able to travel nearly anywhere for the right person.

Someone who appreciates the simple things like a top-down drive along the coast, an easy day hike on the beach or in the mountains, or a quiet night at home. I won't make excessive demands on your time. You can maintain your current friends and lifestyle. I'm open to something more if it makes sense for both of us, but it's definitely not a requirement. I think it's more interesting if we don't match up exactly, but hard drug use, smoking, large tattoos and/or religious bigotry are non-starters.

. . . how to achieve a reasonable balance between excessive consumption and asctecism. I like the material comforts of life, but I realise they do not give it meaning, and the natural world suffers the consequences. A day may come when I decide to give them all up, but I'm not ready to just yet.
