My self-summary

I'll keep it high level for profile TMI and textlation* purposes.

Equal parts head, heart and soul.

I appreciate:
- Exploring the world and experiencing cultures different than my own.
- My large extended family which goes beyond bloodlines.
- Sharing, exploring and learning from one another.
- My roots (Midwest - erner; Indiana), where I've been, the experiences (good and not so) and who I hope to meet.
- Little people; especially my 4 nieces and nephews.

A few personality characteristics:
- Creative, crafty and resilient.
- Handy is in the DNA.
- Shane McConkey'esque: Yolo. Yodo.
- Fun loving and sweet.
What I’m doing with my life
Marketing executive (e-commerce) evolving a communication platform that is transforming lives.

Often on some long urban walk thinking about what's next. What is next? How long have I been on this walk? Where the hell am I (Frank Drebin style)?
I’m really good at
Interacting with people, being friendly and social to most everyone (I do have my limits). I enjoy being connected to the energy of life instead of the ever-increasing focus on digital lives.

Loving Mother Nature and being on-in-around water (lakes – rivers – oceans – snow – infinity pools), glamping, wine tasting and snowboarding many times a year.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm told "the people" appreciate my “welcoming energy."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Here's a snippet...

I like cooking: homemade popcorn in pan; ancient family lasagna recipe; Korean noodle wraps. Typical fare. It's way more fun cooking for 2.

Reading? Always something in the rotation. Currently: Game of Thrones, Book 5. Some all time favs: Shogun Saga. Trinity. The Alchemist. Dracula. Into Thin Air. Shadow Divers. Devil in a White City.

Music? Love it so and see a ton live music. The genres run the gamut: Hip Hop (87-97 - Think Tribe Called Quest), Blues, Rock, Alt Rock 80-90s (Pearl Jam'esque), House, Breaks, Bluegrass, NOLA Brass-Hop.
The six things I could never do without
1. Possibilities.
2. Friendship.
3. Expression.
4. Creativity.
5. Touch.
6. Hope.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The places and people who make of this world we live.

The places and "people" who make up the world we don't live - ya know, like galaxies in a far off land.

The psychology behind it all.

UI. UX. Design. Marketing.

Why lakes are named Lake ___ and rivers ___ River.

New experiences.
On a typical Friday night I am
There isnt much typical about living in San Francisco with all the amazingness in the city and easy access beyond our borders.

"Typically", I'm:
- Chilling at home with a glass of wine unwinding from the week taking in a sunset or the night sky from my roof.
- Hitting an HH or seeing a show with friends.
- On my way to Tahoe. Or Yosemite. Or some other natural playland wonder.
- Fixing things in my place (or a friends).
- Cooking a sweet meal, wine (pattern here), a movie and a fire.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I believe in the possibilities.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 31–41
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
Things and possessions are less important to you than experiences.

Generosity, awareness (intellect and emotion), affection, gentlemen'ly and communicative are elements you seek in man.

You're not looking for someone to "complete" rather compliment and accentuate; you have a big heart, good soul, embrace the possibilities and are a hopeful romantic.

You're similar and not the same.

Interest piqued? Please say hello.
