What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a lawyer and I have my own practice with a partner. We took our own sole practices and merged them. (Economies of scale, of course.) Business has been picking up and I am quite proud of continuing to push it forward.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Improv comedy - I used to do improv in college and law school. stand-up - a new hobby of mine

waxing philosophical (Wax on, wax off)
comforting my friends in need

I'm Catholic. I'm curious how that affects life on a tongue-in-cheek dating website. But I do go to church and it does mean something to me. It's hard to substantiate what that is, especially here.
The first things people usually notice about me

I am currently reading James Clavell's King Rat.

I just finished John Feinstein's A Seaon on the Brink and Philip K. Dick's Flow My Tears The Policeman Said. My reading list can, thankfully, be varied.

Music: The Clarks Charlotte Martin R.E.M. Tori Amos rock/folk/angry girl music

Food: ravioli and gnocchi. Did I tell you about a Polish restaurant way out in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn? I can and probably will.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My sister (she's not a thing, though)
My iPod broke and I seem to be getting well without it.
my smartphone (it's for business, of course)
my bike
my friends (lots of people, not things)
my sense of humor (it's how i cope)

Deodorant. Does anyone go without it? I can't imagine any of us going without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to get those things I'm looking for in life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends. Doing what? It depends. Music, movies, just hanging out, bowling, art - it varies. An example - for a recent weekend, my sister visited. We went to the Barcade in Brooklyn (better in theory than in execution), grabbed some Chinese food for dinner, and also went to a piano bar on the Upper East Side. Saturday night was karaoke with friends. Nothing typical about any of that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I stuck it to The Man in college by piercing my tongue. Do you see that, Man!? Rumor has it that I'm now The Man.
