I like dressing up for theme parties. I have a serious job by day and generally spend all time outside of it either having tons of fun or volunteering. I used to swim competitively, love fruit, the sun, jigsaw puzzles, photo exhibits, & any sort of cultural event. Hiking, whitewater rafting, camping, any type of water sport, & reading at the beach should be included. Also travel of any sort- some of my favorite places have been Thailand, Argentina, Ireland & Bolivia.
Noteworthy & random things that have happened to me in the last few months:
-Went to my first Seder dinner this year- loved it. Even though a (full) glass of red wine was spilled on me from head to toe. There was nothing to do at that point but fill up the glass and keep drinking. And eat about 10 more courses.
-Recognized Argentine Spanish being spoken by a group of photographers on my street, struck up a conversation, and ended up bringing them up to my roof deck to give them a chance to photograph Boston from an awesome viewpoint. Turns out they're somewhat famous and the video interview they took of me is going to be part of their documentary?!
-Got off the Fung Wah in NYC and went straight to my friend’s apt in the East Village. Walked straight into an impromptu party of 25 French people chain smoking & wearing stilettos. (Still confused on what they were doing there.) Went with the flow, attempting to speak French and not die of smoke inhalation, when the door opened again and in casually strolled a Korean model, her gay model/best friend, and a camera crew filming a reality tv show.
Stuff like this happens to me all the time and I love it.
