I am a very free spirited type of person who likes trying new things and experiencing as much of the world as I can.

The biggest interest that I have in my life at the moment is traveling. I've started going on some pretty major trips around the world and have just returned from a 10 month trip to Australia. It's been a huge shock getting settled back in Canada but I'm ready to settle in and get back into a nice routine again.

I guess what I think I'm looking for is a long term relationship but having said that, I am also open to just being friends, or casual dating. At this point in my life I know it's time to settle down and get serious about things, but I also still have a lot of energy to burn and places to see. I'm a fairly spontaneous and impulsive person, so if you're up for having some adventures, send me a message.

I took a 2 year program for nursing, and graduated from that a few years ago. However, I don't feel like this is something I'd like to keep pursuing. I feel like a new career is out there waiting for me, so I'm continuing with nursing for now and trying out a couple new things here and there to see what I like and just see what happens.

I'm a big reader and like all kinds of books. I just finished reading Russell Brand's autobiography which was great. Some of my favourite books include The Life of Pi, the Harry Potter series, Marching Powder, etc.

A few favourite movies include Django Unchained, The Princess Bride, The Departed, Love Actually, Star Wars, The Fall.
I'm really into Breaking Bad at the moment, and some other favourites are 30 Rock, Dexter, Homeland, the IT crowd, and Modern Family.

I love all kinds of music and a few bands/artists I really enjoy are Mumford and sons, Coldplay, Paolo Nutini, The Lumineers and Imagine Dragons.

My family and friends (counts as one since my friends are basically like family)
My laptop.
My cats. (I know, I'm a crazy cat lady but they are just so cute)
The ability to travel

Depends if I am working the next morning or how tired I am!
Could be a glass of wine and movie night, or dinner out and seeing a show, going to a pub, whatever. I tend not to make too many plans, but things always seem to happen and I just go with the flow.
