My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello There!! The most memorable thing about me, truth be told, would have to be the fact that my car accident in 2002 REALLY should have KILLED me, yet it didnt!!!...but anywho, my name is Tom, I blow out my candles the second of May, & I am 29 years young...Perhaps the MOST Notable facet of my life, however, is the experience to which I alluded above; that I am what Two Medina General Hospital Emergency Room Physicians call a Walking MIRACLE! The backstory behind that is that I was nearly Killed in this Horrific car wreck (black ice) in the waning days of my eleventh grade year. However, after slipping on an isolated patch of that G'D slippery crap & nailing a tree, a rapid-fire sequence of events which I would be remiss were I not to characterize as MIRACULOUS Abounded!!!

Namely, after my wreck was discovered through a Most Curious Twist of Fate, and not merely One, but TWO townships' fire departments responded to the distress call; I happened through the Medina General Hospital Emergency Department at SHIFT CHANGE (those few seconds which occur every few hours when One ER doc is going off duty, & another is coming on!) Somehow, something about the sight of my Battered & Bedraggled six-foot frame compelled BOTH of these physicians to stay on duty until I was relatively stable...I was only at Medina for about ten or fifteen minutes, however, before I was Lifeflighted to Cleveland's Metrohealth Medical Center (AWESOME place!!!)

see? told ya that was a memorable tale...Both of those two original docs (NICE guys, and still friends!!!) have since told me, separate from one another, variations of; "Tom, when you first came in that night, NO ONE thought you would live five minutes"

They were So Impressed with my Wholly Improbable recovery, in fact, that these doctors threw me a PARTY, right there in the ER, once I got better...my father (a physician himself, a Kidney Specialist for children), & my mother, (a pediatric nurse) were BLOWN AWAY at this, as they tell me that they have NEVER before heard of an Emergency Room doing as much for a patient!! My accident was twelve years ago now, in March of 2002, so, considering that I should be DEAD; I would say that I'm doing pretty well, wouldn't you?

Anyhow, I don't drive again YET, severely limiting my social outlets, so I'm just hoping to meet some new people on here!! Further, I enjoy camping, hiking, and ANYTHING outdoors!!! but I also enjoy curling up on the couch on Fridays with that special someone...

As for my Myers-Briggsianness [sic], I am an ENFP (Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving), Quite Gregarious, and Absurdly Musically Minded!
What I’m doing with my life

"Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination that changed America Forever," by Bill O'Reilly...This Riveting title paints a Fascinating and Historically Accurate Picture of the people, places, oddities, & events which surround the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln, and how one gunshot Really Did "change America Forever"...and he just came out with "Killing Kennedy"...check 'em out!
see below for an interview with O'reilly regarding the "Lincoln" book:

abcnews.go.com/politics/bill-oreilly-tackles-history-thriller-killing-lincoln/story?id=14609968#.T7J1mK6E58s

It should noted that I am IN NO WAY a fan of Mr. O'Reilly's Faux News Persona...but this title is not imbued with that in Any Way!!! As is noted in the interview above, the commentator opines how O'Reilly "really gets back to his history teacher roots with this book"...and such couldn't be More True!!!

Music: "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)"

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
School, Parents/Brother/Family, Friends, Reading/Books, Air Conditioning, the interwebz, the Computer (my mac); hey, I never said that I had much respect for people trying to reign me in; i.e. limit me to a paltry SIX things which I could never do without! hahahahaha
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
LIFE...hahahaha...or how about STUFF! I don't know...lets just say that I Spend Most Of My Time THINKING!!

Also....just why, exactly, does a Puma shoe box say..."Average contents, 2." Are there shoe boxes somewhere out there with one or three in them? :) Lol.

It really does...look at one sometime.

Further (sorry mom, gotta get this out there); why does anyone ever make their bed? It's a totally pointless endeavor. All a person ever does is get right back in it about 9-15 hours later. If one has company over, nobody ever goes in their bedroom to see their messed-up bed, either; so, honestly; who gives two shits? Just WHY do we WASTE our LIVES?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It varies...At dinner, the movies, out with friends, perfecting my various Thumb-Twiddling Techniques, et al.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Nothing; I am NOT FOND of secrets; My Life is an Open Book
