I have spent the last three years of my life in nursing school, kicking butt and taking names along the way. I have become so passionate about being a nurse. I have been fortunate enough to travel the country over the past 3 years and work to make a difference in the lives of others. The work I accomplished in nursing school was so rewarding, and I can't wait to see what the beginning of my career brings!
I really like sports. I feel like I should repeat that: I REALLY like sports. Mostly football, basketball, and rugby. Usually watching and not so much playing. Though every now and again I like to get out and pass the ball around. I love to go to live games, no matter who's playing. And if you try to talk to me during the game if we're watching on tv, I will likely ignore you until the commercial. Nothing personal!
I grew up with a dad in the Army so I was forced to become super outgoing to make new friends every few years when we moved. Moving around so much has influenced me in more ways than I could ever imagine. Most importantly, I learned that friends are the family that you choose. And I have a few close friends that I keep near and dear to my heart. BUT! There's still no replacement for a holiday family dinner at Grandma's house!
Fun facts about me:
My favorite ice cream is rocky road because I think it matches my personality. I come up with some of my best ideas in the shower. I'm generally either wearing black flip flops, black chucks, or black heels. My cat talks to me more than I talk to her. I'm a sucker for sunshine and palm trees. All of my tattoos are cover-able for professional occasions (or meeting your parents!) I'm a naturally curious person, so I ask a lot of questions. I believe in being a jack of all trades, rather than being a master of one.
I hope that's enough superficial information to suffice for this section. Though you really only truly know someone after meeting them, there's no way I could cover everything here.
