I am "a cherry ghost"- wilco

me... in a nutshell... i am laid back to a fault, always off the cuff, always making a joke, always up for a good time... preferably as random as possible. I have lived in TN most of my life- except for a short exile in Indiana... But I am brand new to Knoxville and figuring the city out. Looking to find a new crowd to run with. Carve out a niche.

I enjoy challenges- be they at work, school or wherever... I think that the main goal in life is to enjoy what u do. No matter where u do it.
I enjoy putting out fires...and thinking on my feet.

I have been working in social services for 10 years. I love my job. Most people hate being defined by what they do... in my case, who I am, defines what I do... so it works out well.

Other than that. Rebooting. Exploring. Asking questions.

Im really good at random facts-- especially music. I was so mad when they canceled rock n roll jeopardy...

Keeping a good laid back attitude no matter what.... I think I am a pretty stable person... and Im able to find the good in anything... as well as keep my cool. And I'm good at putting out fires on a daily basis.

Im very good at my job- helping other people is of the utmost importance to me.

I have played music for most of my life. Im probably best at drums... but would prefer to play rhythm guitar....

Hmm... usually being horribly underdressed for the occasion... and I usually have sunglasses around my neck even if its raining at 4 am...

Music- Neil Young,Frank Zappa Led Zeppelin, Miles Davis, Pavement. Flaming lips. Wilco. Most recently I have developed a rather unhealthy fascination with 70s AM radio and rekindled my live for Queen and Elton John. I wish glam would come back and was hoping The Darkness would set modern music straight.

movies- more of the same... u cant beat cool hand luke, the road warrior, fletch, fincher, anything by the Anderson's or cohens- i still say apocalypse now redux is the finest work ever made.

TV. Walking dead. Top gear. All the cooking shows. And I really miss Gil Grissom from csi. I just can't get into Sam from cheers and the chick from adventures in babysitting.

I really enjoy people watching. Trying to get into people's heads and figure them out.

I could sit at a bar patio and watch people all for hours. Make up detailed stories in my head with all kinds of esoteric inside jokes about why that guy is with that girl or why that other guy has a bit of a limp. That sort of thing

I work every other weekend, so it depends... Most recently going to shows around Knoxville and checking out the scenery.
