Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Originally from Southern California, I have been a single parent
(no ex drama, and I had full custody) of my 20 y.o.son, who is out
on his own! Been divorced 12+ years. I am more concerned with what
is right or wrong, not with who is right or wrong. I don't hold
grudges, as they are too heavy. Patience, and forgiveness are
standards that I practice in my life. I am rarely bored. Calm under
pressure. Some of the 'spices' of life I enjoy are cooking,
baseball, staying fit, horses, learning languages (working on
medical Spanish right now), oceans, rivers, and lakes, the
outdoors, and other stuff and things. I try to have a grateful
attitude in all things, a balanced life, and have a servant's
heart. Adaptable and easy to get along with, too. I have a moral
compass and am loyal and don't run at the 1st or 3rd sign of
trouble. I am not impressed by the size of your house, car, or bra,
but with the size of your heart.
I'm D&DF, no tats, either. Just sayin'.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Always trying to make a positive difference and being a good role
model for my son. I've done volunteer work in the past, and
currently give time to the county's MVDR program. Working on the
side to become a professional mariner. Trying to figure out how to
make a good espresso/cappuccino with my espresso machine. My other
coffee-making skills are well-grounded. Haha.
I’m really good at

picking up on or making connections to random pop-culture
references, making people feel comfortable. Also, anticipating and
identifying the needs of others, but am not a mind-reader. Finding
the humor in most things. Bringing out the best in people without
being intrusive or overbearing. Remembering dates and
anniversaries. I connect well with most fellow humans. When it
comes to relationships, I do not sit around and think, "What do I
expect from a partner," I think more along the lines of, "What can
I offer the relationship?" Really.

question before, but I have been told that I have good manners.

Hmmm...I usually have several books going at any one time. I looove
Mexican food, American, Persian, Indian, vegetarian, Italian,
Tex-Mex, most cuisines. Spicy is usually a plus. I am on an endless
hunt for the perfect breakfast--which of course, can be eaten at
any time of the day! NY style pizza over Chicago, but it's all
good. Being in Yosemite is like music and food combined--it's one
of my favorite places on earth, but I do need ocean and the plains
and desert as well. Like anything else, I like some of most genres
of music. My favorite music is whatever I am in the mood for at the

any of this resonates with you, or if you feel like it. Also, I am
most attracted to those who lead balanced lives, have a great sense
of humor, are loyal, have kind hearts, and don't hold grudges. You
take care of your body and are reasonably healthy--emotionally and
physically, and don't have serious personality disorders (or
multiple personalities). I don't live in my past and neither should
you. Your success in life does not threaten me. Please expose me to
something new! Be able to give and receive affection freely.
*NOTE: If you don't have a pic on your profile when sending me a
msg, I won't respond; that's like wearing a bag over your head when
meeting someone! I'll assume you're afraid someone will recognize
you and tell your husband or SO! Either that or you're hiding
something. If your profile is empty, I probably won't reply to you.
