My Self-Summary
I'm a geeky guy who moved to the Bay Area for a geeky new gig about
10 months ago. Having lived most of my life thus far in the
mid-west and south, I'm finding Northern California to be a
refreshing change, both socially and climatically.
What I’m doing with my life
I spend my days geeking out to support science at a national lab,
and my evenings exploring all that the SF Bay Area has to offer.
I'm always searching for something new and interesting, and often
presenting myself with various personal challenges, such as
recently giving up my car for a year (I'm 9 months in), or planning
crazy air travel adventures.
I’m really good at
Problem solving. I absolutely love having challenging tasks set in
front of me.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Unfortunately as of late most of my reading has been of a technical
nature, but when I find free time on my hands, I enjoy reading the
works of Neal Stephenson, Issac Asimov, and Carl Jung.

On a typical Friday night I am
I don't really have a typical Friday night. Some you'll find me at
the bowling alley, some you'll find me in a pub playing board
games, occasionally sitting on a jet, and once in a while at home,
relaxing.
