At different speeds,
With different bumps in the roads.
Some encounter steep cliffs and blockades,
And others find beautiful views without needing to trail blaze to find them.
Yet looking back at my path,
It buts a smile on my face to see the meandering deer path of a trail.
Some bumps, some hills and tight turns.
I still think of that one spot that shifted from gravel to a dirt path.
Gravel seems to hold the path's shape,
Even with a strong rain the gravel never fully washes away.
Luckily now, with dirt, the path gets stronger where ever I walk.
And you can easily see where you walked in a dirt path,
Just look back to see each footprint you left on the ground;
... Plus its easier on your feet.
