My self-summary
Hi there, thanks for stopping in. I live to laugh at myself and others (in fact, I'll probably check your profile out and poke some fun), experience new countries, discover new foods, and try everything twice.

Just moved to Austin a couple weeks ago, and looking for someone to explore this city with. Up for some new adventures, food tasting, and outdoor playtime?

Some of my favorite memories include surfing and snowboarding in the same day, discovering the best grilled cheese in town, and climbing Mt Kilimanjaro abroad. If that resonates with you more than a red carpet Hollywood premier or shopping on Rodeo Drive, I'd love to hear from you.

I definitely live to eat, rather than eat to live; and am always up for new culinary adventures. The spicier the better, but I’m afraid of onions and mayonnaise. Lately have been learning my way around the kitchen and love it. Want to cook with me? Or I can cook for you...as long you keep an open palate.

Staying active outside is a big part of my life (to balance out my garbage disposal appetite), and I'm looking for a woman who enjoys the same. I've gotten into triathlons, so spend time running, swimming, and biking. Looking for activities to replace surfing and snowboarding....anyone into rock climbing, paddle boarding, or kayaking on the lake? Also would love someone to drag me to yoga. There’s still room for happy hour though, so you if you don’t like to raise a drink, we might not be a match.

We'll end with a pop quiz --

1. What's the weirdest thing about Austin?
a. 87% of guys have beards
b. 4% of women have beards
c. Whole Foods is bigger than Walmart

2. Best bbq is...
a. Salt Lick
b. Franklin's
c. Lockhart

3. Am I looking for a partner in crime?
a. Yes
b. No, I rob banks solo
c. If I had a quarter for every time I've read that on a woman's profile, I'd set up my own profile on sugardaddies.com

Send me your best guesses. All winners will enjoy a free food truck excursion of their choice...
What I’m doing with my life
Searching Austin for the perfect breakfast taco and bbq. But feel very fortunate to love my day job.
I’m really good at
My superpowers...
- Finding the best street food in foreign countries
- Napping in moving vehicles
- Winning rock, paper, scissors
- Cooking award winning lasagna
- Finding humor in any situation

I'll do my best to get a laugh out of you, either at me, yourself, or that weird looking guy at the next table. I believe there's no such thing as a bad date, only potential for good stories.
The first things people usually notice about me
My attempt to sneak a bite of their meal.....

The six things I could never do without
1. The ocean
2. Air conditioning
3. Hot sauce
4. My passport
5. My snowboard
6. Cheese
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whether or not I should grow a beard to fit in here?

What I could whip up if I was a contestant on Chopped?

My next passport stamp and new adventures in foreign countries.

Who's this Paul Qui guy and who will take me to his food truck?

Remembering that I once grew a beard for 6 weeks and looked straight up homeless. I'll show you pics if you buy me a breakfast taco.
On a typical Friday night I am
Excited to explore a brand new city, discover new food and drink, and make new friends. And experimenting in the kitchen if I'm motivated.

My ideal weekend consists of a mix of sun, waves (not so much anymore), sweat, naps, and food. All accompanied by a funky soundtrack.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm afraid of heights

I'm 4x more likely to write to women on okcupid if they state that they like food or their diet consists of 'strictly anything'

I love my meats and cheeses yet somehow find myself eating veggie/vegan often. Balance, I guess...
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 26–36
  • Near me
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
- You're active, not afraid to break a nail, and like to walk around barefoot
- You have a sarcastic sense of humor and take these profiles with a grain of salt
- You'd like to show me your favorite food trailer, or this Greenbelt, that I hear so much about
- You're open minded, spontaneous, and would go on a road trip with nothing planned
- Your ideal job would be on Anthony Bourdain's 'No Reservations' show, or as a contestant on 'The Amazing Race'
- You love mac and cheese.

Note: seems like women on here have huge pet peeves...but I'm a bit more relaxed. If you want to email me just to say hi, that's ok. If you have profile pics using your iPhone in the bathroom mirror, that's ok too. If you have a pic topless and flexing, no comment. If you're wearing an Ed Hardy shirt, well, that's where I might draw the line.

Don't contact me if you:
Wear crocs
Don't signal when turning
Enjoy onions and mayo
