Defining Me. I am a person who is never stopped by life. Maybe at times for a time, and then I pick myself up and continue to move forward on this journey called my life. I am so grateful for my journey and where I am today.

One of my passions is dancing and when I dance, I love the feeling of freedom and being one with the universe that I experience . I also love to dig in my garden and grow wonderful veggies and also my soul food, flowers. Cooking is for sure another one of my creative times. Different ethnic foods are great any time.

I swim to be fit and I belong to a masters swim club which has me stay committed and improves my stamina.

My family is a big part of my life though my children are all grown, and having their own children. I am a grandmother of seven. Yup !!! Crazy even when I say it !!!
I'm actually a softy at heart and can become emotional at the mere sight of one of my grandchildren playing, a great song, a book that changes my perspective or even the beauty of the day.

There are never enough hours in my life to read all of the incredible books in the world. And then there are the great movies and interesting people and adventures yet to take.....

I enjoy interacting with people in great conversations that have me think, question, laugh, ponder and even challenge me to take on something new.

To travel is my latest passion as I now have the time to do that. I have been to Mexico, Hermosa Beach many times, San Fran. too many times to count, Seattle and also Italy for my 55th birthday to name a few. I am clear that I want to do more of the same.

My friends would describe me as a true friend, honest, reliable and fun. I am a gemini and what that means is that you will never be bored in a relationship with me. Variety is my spice of life.

I have to be attracted to you, my mate and I love that rush of butterflies I get when you look at me from across the room. I love passion, affection and the closeness and itimacy of being couple.

Physically, today I may have red and pink hair and tomorrow it may all be gone. I am not skinny, nor do I want to be. If Barbie is what you are looking for thank you and keep looking. I am a well aged bottle of wine; bold, smooth, subtle and worth the price. Can it be all of that? I am !!!

Having said all of this let the games begin !!!

Well I am always up to lots of things. I am currently taking on my health and fitness and bringing it to a new level.
I am usually taking a course or seminar often related to personal growth.
I love to travel and will do more of it as I create the time.
Love to read and I love to dance whenever I have the chance.
Love having dinner parties and getting together with friends and family.
Love to be in my garden and the outdoors when it is warm.

I am a pretty good cook. My father was a chef at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto and his gift rubbed off on his girls.
I also love to dance. I just go out there and have fun.
I would also have to say that I am really good at being a good friend and Mother for my children of which I have four.
I am also a fair boss. I believe in being fair with my staff and treating everyone as I would like to be treated.
At this stage of life I hope that I know what I am good at. It took me long enough to get here......

The first thing that people notice about me are my eyes. I have big blue eyes. Then it would be my smile. And then it would probably be my hair. It is usually different all the time. I have also been told I have a memorable laugh.

Wow. There are so many amazing books that I have read and that have had an impact on my life. One that stands out for me is a book called 'A Fine Balance' by Rohinton Mistry. Incredible writer and story teller.
I love movies that make me laugh, also movies that have a profound message about life lessons, and also the oldies, musicals, classic old westerns, comedies. Across the Universe was incredible. Shawshank Redemption, Same time next year, Life as a House, The Fisher King, Austin Powers, Little Big Man. What can I say. I like movies.
I love old rock and roll. I also love to listen to Italian and Spanish music, as well as classical, blues, some jazz. Salsa is my newest venture. Learning to dance it, and now I know I'm not a great dancer. Truely out of my comfort zone and committed to a new challenge.
My favourite singers are still Nat King Cole and Bette Midler.
Food. The sky is the limit. I love so many varieties and cultures of food. I am always looking for new dishes to try.

I guess I have spent a lot of time thinking over the years about my purpose for being here on this journey. My decisions that I have made through out my life and the impact that those decisions have had on my children. I now live in gratitude for where my life has led me and who I am today as a person, a Mother, a Grandmother, and friend.
Today I spend alot of time thinking about my future partner and what our lives will be like as we create us.

What is typical? Not for me. I can be at home, with friends, out to dinner, on and on. I love to socialize and I also love quiet time. A home body I am not. I have a great balance of both.

I love food. And I love good popcorn. Not just popcorn, but popcorn with butter. Grew up with it being our Saturday night treat while watching the hockey game.
At times I think I should have been born of another nationality because I love so many other ethnic foods.
