I am compassionate, explorative, and honest.
My Self-Summary
I'm an easy going guy at heart. I like everyone I meet, because I
don't believe any of us are truly different than one another. (Well
once you take out the extremes of serial killers, people like
Ghandi and MLK, and those who like the taste of spam.)
But if there is one thing I am looking for in friends and
relationships, its people who are not afraid to be honest with
themselves and others. Life is too short to keep things bottled up
out of fear. Its understandable to be reserved if thats who you
are, but its a shame when we don't act like and share who we are
because we are afraid.
I'm an equally serious and equally ridiculous person. Even though
there are things I love to do and think about, I also like to
sample a little bit of everything life has to offer. I hope to see
as much of the world as possible and leave at least a little mark
on all of it. But even while I am meeting new people and seeing new
things, I am one of the most loyal people around. My friends and
loved ones mean a lot to me, and I have and will stop whatever it
is I am doing if they are in need.
What I’m doing with my life
Came back home to the New Orleans area for the holidays, and have
decided I want to settle back down in the area after being a bit of
a nomad for a while. The future, who knows.
I’m really good at
Being adaptable to whatever life throws at me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know, I do not have access to the
brains of other people. That would make
me a
zombie.
(Linking random words is fun! Either that or I am too easily
amused.)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
a)
shogun,
different random character driven fiction series, I don't finish a
book I don't like so compiling one small list would be rather
difficult.
b)
garden
state,
about a
boy,
dances with wolves,
V for vendetta,
wonder boys,
eternal
sunshine
c)
folk
inspired rock:
the shins,
the decemberists,
badly drawn boy,
wilco,
bob dylan,
jenny owen
youngs,
the postal service
d) not
human
brains, I am not a
zombie
The six things I could never do without
A car to travel with, music to give me a little perspective from
time to time,
tent
and
sleeping
bag in case I need to sleep away from a sheltered buildings,
various pictures
I spend a lot of time thinking about
People I can't see much of anymore
On a typical Friday night I am
working... (how boring, eh?)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have the internal disposition of a puppy. Minus the licking. Well
at least no
licking of strangers.
And, yes, I am a nice dorky type guy. I'm only suave in that I am
not afraid of being myself. I don't mind it, even if it drives away
99% of women. (Because if it does, oh well..)
You should message me if
You want to type things and send them to me, blank messages are
fairly
pointless. If you are not afraid of
completely serious conversations and/or absolutely ridiculous ones.
