My self-summary
The short version is that I'm a geek/nerd who takesxcare of himself and is kind and sweet and funny. Pretty much like that guy in that romantic comedy, you know, that one with that guy in it? Yeah, that one.

I tend to be polite to people I don't know, and totally honest with people I do know. I try to think about other's feelings. I don't like gossip (It's usually very boring). I make jokes, favoring absurd-ist humor and bad puns. I don't talk while watching movies/TV (at least not during good TV). I get along with most people, but actually like very few people. I'm very patient, except towards willful ignorance and incompetence (as in: you've refused to learn after being told several times). I don't take most small problems, insults or inconveniences personally, and generally pity those who do. I like to solve problems and puzzles. I'm usually very kind.
I prefer the indoors, and dislike crowds and concerts. I don't follow sports.

Games are important to me. I used to play a lot of video games but don't anymore. I try to get together with my friends every weekend and play table top games, though secretly the gaming is now mostly an excuse to spend time with people I like.
What I’m doing with my life
Doing payroll.
Slowly working on a game that I may never finish.
Trying to schedule game time with my friends.
Looking for you. (sorry, that was cheesy.)
I’m really good at
-Game design.
-Giving presents. the trick is to remember what you've shared and done together and get something not quite directly related to that.
-Conversation. If there's something to talk about. I can't do small talk.
-Listening. I'm okay with listening to the problems you've had through the day, and making jokes about it in an attempt to make you smile.
The first things people usually notice about me
I used to be shy. I think people now just think that I'm a bit weird, which is true, but not for the reasons that they assume. Though, instead of weird, I prefer the term "differently awesome."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
-I like detective stories, in all mediums. Jeff Lindsay's Dexter books are just wonderful. David Suchet as Poirot is great. There's an anime called "Case Closed" which I love for its many, many Rube-Goldberg murders.
I like anime, but I greatly prefer Manga. most Anime slows the pace down just to fill time, and loses the artistry of the original.

-I like fast-paced, character driven comedy, Like The Office, or The Simpsons Seasons 1-7. Have you seen The IT Crowd? I like Judd Apatow's movies, and that sense of comedy, like The 40 year Old Virgin and Knocked Up.
-If you have seen Scott Pilgrim Vs The World then you have basically seen into my head. Also, I have seen Pacific Rim like 5 times.

-I like most kinds of food. At any type of establishment there's something I can eat.

-I don't have strong feelings either way for most music. I don't like repetitive lyrics or music solely intended to dance to. I like music that fits the mood. The music I really like tends to be fast paced. Sorry if that's a bit vague. Right now my favorite artist is Anamanaguchi.

-For video games, (which no one asked about, but are just as varied a medium as any of the others in this section) I like RPGs, both action and turn based. I love Castlevania, Megaman and Zelda games. Fallout, Mass Effect, Borderlands, Final Fantasy and more. Though I don't do sports games and first person shooters without an inventory or leveling mechanic bore me. (I played games where you run forward and shoot people quite enough on the NES, thanks)
The six things I could never do without
Games my brain demands problems that it can solve, and if I do not meet its demands, it will kill the hostages.

Japan -Godzilla, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Hikaru Utada, Gundam -I could go on forever about the great things from this country. ...or at least a while.

Internet -It's where we are right now!

Comedy -more important than music. Comedy is an art form rarely respected enough.

An outlet for my imagination. Right now that's the weekend gaming with my friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My game that I'm currently working on. Or thinking about how I should really work on it, but don't feel like it right now.

Politics, science, and political science.

girls. they're pretty.
On a typical Friday night I am
Just a Doctor looking for his companion to adventure with.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Most of the times that I act like an idiot it's done purposefully, for the sake of comedy. I like character-based comedy, and am willing to make myself appear foolish for the enjoyment of others.
Sadly, this often makes people not take me seriously as a responsible, adult human being.
I believe this to be a fair trade-off, as most of the time being able to put others at ease through comedy is more important than impressing them with your grandiosity and serious nature.

Also, to quote Ron Howard : "His best friend is a talking pie!"
