Your Notes
Edit your notesI am a thinker, an adventurer, and a homebody.
My Self-Summary
I explore, find hole-in-the-wall restaurants, walk down unknown roads, talk with people from completely different backgrounds, step outside of my comfort zone, push others outside of their comfort zone, listen most of the time, but debate with acumen when necessary. I prefer coffee to alcohol and anything to sitting down in front of the TV for two nights in a row.
What I’m doing with my life
www.IncendiaryImage.com
I do other things, study languages, know a little guitar, have nun-chuck skills...
Really, I'm just getting back into the normal life routine, I've been sleeping under the moon for too long and have strong urges to go back to it.
I took the LSATs and like the idea of going to law school, but not being a lawyer.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books? Anything worthwhile...Dostoevsky to Camus. Guns Germs & Steel analysis to James Nachtwey balls-to-the-wall reporting, John Irving when I'm in the mood, Michael Chabon when I'm not. Steinbeck for that last page.
TV? Not much...I usually only follow one show at a time. Throughout college it was SCRUBS, now it's 30 Rock.
Movies? We didn't have a TV when I was growing up so we would go watch 3 movies in a row some weekends. Now I'm a little more selective, The Professional still touches me. The Matrix/Fight Club/The Edukators inspire me. I've seen No Country For Old Men about 7 times and forgotten most of the good ones.
I eat simple/homemade food, sometimes I make a real dish like baked macaroni or curry. There is one meal called Laghman (basically noodles and vegetables) that when cooked right is extremely satisfying. If anyone in can cook this for me I will become their servant (I was permanently kicked out of China so there isn't much of a chance I can get the real thing again).
The six things I could never do without
I clean up with an evening jacket, but that's really all I need.
